Alright, so now the new contest!

This was suggested by our winner of the last contest, Halhi 141, and I would not mind if he helped judge.

So basically, build something dealing with the ocean. It could be just about anything, something floats, something that sank, creatures battling to the death, the calm reefs, the lost city of Atlantis, aquatic environment inhabbitants, whatever you want as long as it is dealing with the waters of the ocean.

1. Make it dealing with ocean water.

2. Adding scenery will greatly help but is not required.

3. Comics are not a big issue, but short comics are going to be easier to judge.

4. New creations only, maybe someday we can have an old MOC contest. Depending on the number of entries early on, I may allow more than one entry per person.

5. Please have it completed by Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, this means you have a month so we can accommodate for the MOC Olympics, but this does not mean you should forget about it, I would like more than four entries. Preferably 10 at the least.

6. AND THIS IS A BIGGY, PLEASE, Please, please add a link to this conversation thread so that it will be easier for judging to take place. If we have more than one contest at the same time, and all you do is add it to the group with no thought to announce you have completed your entry, you may be completely forgotten.

7. Adding a link to the group is not required, but for publicity reasons and as it is most common nowadays, it is highly suggested.

8. You will be judged with scores out of 100 points

Detail: 25 points

Originality: 25 points

Presentation: 20 points

Relaition to the Ocean: 10 points

Personal Opinion: 20 points

The total is out of 100 points, like I said. Making a judge laugh, showing skills, adding scenery, adding a link, and such will improve scores so remember that. Have fun!

What kind of MOC-off? If it is just a friendly scuffle, then yeah. I wouldn't think it too much of a problem for another contest, but we like to be our own group with our own influences. If it was for a bigger contest, I would say no, but just an average MOC-off, I don't see too much of a problem.
