Well, actually, this isn't a "timed" contest. This will have many contests, keep people posted on other non-group contests such as the MocOlympics, and will hopefully stay active for a while. So to answer your question, yes, yes it will, but you don't have to enter every single one of these contests.

By looking at which contest has not ended yet. Right now, The "Group Picture" contest is going on right now, but that will end on the 31st. Hope I helped!

Hey, are we allowed to make more than one entry for the same creation? Like say I made three different designs around the creation, would that be legal?

Even though I would love to see all three designs, you may only submit one entry. Also, submitting three entries would be unfair for the other contestants, as you would have three times more chance of winning. So, please just enter one. Thanks!

Is it not going to be judged by a points system because that sounds more like it would be a random choice which also does not seem fair. I will stick to one design though.

I just read over my last comment, and maybe I should have worded that differently... But no, it is not just a random pick. Remember, this is not a normal contest, I will be choosing the entry that I believe will fit this group best. In future contests, they will be based on point systems though.

What do you guys think about having a list of the winners, their entries, and the contest on the front page of the group, as a motivation for participation? I think something like what LVC does with the ABS Forever group would be nice: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/18786

The next contest's theme is decided by the winner of this contest, so there's no way to know. The contest ideas 2 thread is used to choose contests, though, so you can look in there.

This group is #1 on the Explore page for contests. Is this picked by random, or is this the number one contest? If so, I say we take a pic and put it on our homepage.

It's not random. It never gets updated! But it must have gotten fixed at some point if we're there and some other one that is not normally there. There used to be an old MocOlympics, a speederbike contest, and that Halo thing that had also ended.
