If you had the power to create a new lego set and/or theme what would it be?

Wow. Tough one. I think that if I had to pick one it would be the Valkyrie from Titan A.E. For those that are unfamiliar with the movie, it's a sci fi animated flick that has some major plot holes, but is worth the watch anyway.

I love that movie! And yeah you're right with the major plot holes :) but anyways that would be a great set to buy or to make. Good idea Tim.

I'd like to see a technic off road truck with a snow plow.

I am a major sci fi fan, with Star Wars leading the way. I even kind of like Episodes I, II, and III, so, clearly, I don't let plot holes color my opinions of movies;)

I think it is time for a way cool new modular building, something like a corner piece, like the corner cafe.

I agree with Chris

Now that I think about it, it's a little hard to say what would be a good set. I build MOCs almost exclusively. There are a lot of sets that I buy, yet never put together the way LEGO intended. (Mostly because once I build a LEGO set, my daughter claims it as her own for a while and gets mad when I take them apart, a real bummer if there are some pieces that I really want). Maybe it's a sin in the eyes of the LEGO Gods, I don't know, but when I buy a set, it's for what I call "piece harvesting." I go to Bricklink and look up in their catalog a particular piece that I need more of and find a set that has a lot of that piece in it. If it won't break the bank, and the set has enough other useful pieces, that's what I get. Can anyone out there relate to this, or am I alone?

no Tim you're diffenatly not alone I tend to do the "piece harvesting" more as well. What usually happens is I build the set but then I see a piece that I really need in the built set. So I take the piece out. Over time more picecs come off and the set never looks the same. Some of my mocs though I will never take pieces off because I want to keep them together. Does anyone else do the same things as Tim and me?

Your not alone, I do this all the time. Lol, sometimes I'll have my dad build a set for me because I'm busy on a project, then he gets mad when I destroy it for the pieces. Although, I have never heard of "brick link" could someone explain this to me?

Bricklink is your one stop shop to pretty much any Lego piece, set, minifig, and a whole lot more that you can purchase for a good price. I know a lot of people that use bricklink like the Lego pick a brick. They just find the piece they need and how much of it they need and add it to their cart. You should check it out. I've used it to buy classic sets before is really a neat website.

The Cuusoo site has some great up and coming projects that are being considered by TLG. That's where the Minecraft set came from and right now TLG is producing a Lego Legend of Zelda series based on someone's design.
