Hey BWTMT if I win the contest can you make a video showing how you plan and make your miniformers, beacuase I tried soooo many times but I couldnt do it.

umm each mini ALREADY has their own ldd file that you can download plus there is a Page and video for the basic frame why would you need a video?

Can we add new segments into the frame, e.g add a third lego segment in between the existing two.

Just a quick ?. Can we replace larger bricks for smaller ones? For example instead of using a 1x2 we use two 1x1s. Thanks for the great contest Chris!

you may add as much as you want but you may only change up to 10 bricks on the frame though

you may only change 10 bricks on the frame so modify sparingly but add as much as you like

Hey chris, I have a slight problem. I have an older version of LDD that can't be upgraded. I can't use the frame without changing more than ten bricks. What do I do?

what about the universe crack for older versions does that work on old MACs all bricks all colours

not illegal - just look up ldd universe mode online there is a small line of code you place in one of he LDD files and it unlocks all bricks all colours in older versions of LDD

eeep. I was going to enter the contest, and had already started on a mecha using the frame.... until I saw the deadline and rules.
for much of the second half of August I may not be near a computer long enough to vote, it's the time of year I normally get away from the office for a couple of weeks.
I shouldn't have a problem posting my entry by the 15th (assuming I get it finished... another story entirely) but judging on/after the 16th is an issue.

Um... how long does it take you to build a mech off of a frame? im just curious because i can finish about 2 mechs an hour that way building from scratch takes like 4 hours for me tho

Sorry guys, as I said at the beginning of the contest I'm not going to be available for the voting period so I'm withdrawing my intention to enter.
If I finish it, I may still post my design to promote the competition, but as things stand I'm not going to participate.

as long as removing the head pieces still fits within the ruls of only changing 10 pcs from the frame provided.

IMPORTANT NOTICE hold off on judging till Sat Aug 18th - I am extending the deadline till Friday (aug 17) midnight EST as some people emailed me last night having issues uploading to MOCpages so if you could not get posted last night you can still post today or tomorrow Judging wil start when I give instructions on Saturday!

Let the Judging begin - all members that submitted a MOC must score all other entries but their own with a score from 1 to 10 out of 10 - best to add comments also to explain your rating. Do not score my MOC its an example. Pls finish scoring by Sept 1 2012. I will tally the scores then and announce the winners who will be admins and mods in my new group "MECH MADNESS"
