To clarify the category, do the individual smaller MOCs and the combined Titan MOC count as the two different forms?

No. The individual smaller mocs must combine themselves into two different forms.

Like Berial said. If you have let's say 4 Toas, they could combine in different ways to ether for a monster or a vehicle.
As soon as I have a proper Lego room, I'm going to try this category.

Can the smaller MOCs be vehicles or nonhumanoids?

Okay, I have about 48 hours to build my MOC before I get on a plane and leave my parts in a different hemisphere. Overdrive Mode! Well, Monarth, it looks like we meet again! See you on the other side!

Well, we're facing once more. History apparently repeats itself =) Time to see who's the victor this year. Good luck bro, you'll be needing it to finish a moc in 2 days.

They can be whatever, just remember that one of the combined forms must be a Titan over 45 cm. Or one of the combiners. Since it's not specified, it can go either way.

You're going to be travelling to peru for over three weeks?

Quoting Berial .

You're going to be travelling to peru for over three weeks?

Yes. My dad and I have had this trip planned for years. We will go to Arequipa, Colca Canyon , Cuzco, Macchu Picchu, and Lima. I'm going to take photos of Gentleman Scarecrow everywhere we visit and make a post.
The contest will be okay because I'm building like crazy and I'm pretty sure I'll have it done before we leave, although I probably won't post it until near the end of the round. I had the skeleton of a titan worked up before this round was announced ( I got antsy waiting), and now I'm modifying so it transforms. This still may be the toughest challenge I've had so far, but it's all good. Can't wait to see what comes out of this round. Happy MOCing everyone. I'll be in touch.

Gratz to everyone who passed, even though I lost, I feel much more accomplished this year than I did the last. Good luck to all six of you, and especially to Nathan with his limited time. Thanks for a great time, judges, and I hope to join you all again next year! :D

Well I too feel the need to say some closing remarks. I feel I did much better and some of my best moc's came out of this contest. I had lots of fun but one thing still annoys me. I feel that next time there should be no more extensions. I understand why you have them but It's not fair to people who have already entered their entry. When I entered I entered during my last chance before I was busy right up until the deadline. If I had known you were going to further extend the deadline I feel I would have better my entry by a lot and possibly changed the outcome of the round. (Although banjax did a great job that would have been hard to beat even with more time) I just feel that it isn't fair to do that to people. I understand like a day but adding up to a week? A bit much I think. Anyway thanks for the opportunity. Can't wait for next year!

Well friends, two sixteen hour marathon sessions later and it's finished. Would you like to see it? Well, you'll just have to wait. I can't show my hand three weeks early! However the page is prepared to launch at a moment's notice. I am off to Peru with my Dad, Gentleman Scarecrow (my self-MOC) and his new secret acquaintance. Look for a post at some point. I will be following this group from the Peru so say something once in a while! To the remaining contestants I wish you success with your builds. Ciao for now! :D

Although I have the build time advantage, it may not be that much an advantage, as this is gonna be a lot of fiddling with my time. As our house is full of guests overnight for around 1 more week, my access to my parts will be limited according to their schedule, as I had to give my room for one of them. Aside that my final high school year began and working with that aside also limits my time. This is gonna be a tough fight, I'm telling ya. I have an idea already, however, so I should be on to building soon enough. Prepare for awesomeness :D

Oh, and one bombshell to drop on you;

If I manage to pass this round, I'll only have 20 days left after the deadline. That is, if there aren't any more postpone-ments. On the 22nd I'll be off to University, and sadly I can't take my MOCs and parts with me. :/

Doo-Nay Boo-Gee! (dune buggy, spanish-ized.) Went on a manic dune buggy ride driven by a madman over ENORMOUS dunes outside of Ica, Peru. only to go sandboarding down the dunes. Oh, this was after seeing penguins and seals on bird-poop covered islands from a boat on the pacific ocean near Paracas Peru. Two ceviches and a steak later, I would have to say this has been a good day! Get to work you round 4 contestants! It's the rise of the Titans!!

So, how are you folks going?

Let's just say I've had to scrap a few mocs to free up some balljoints for use of the titan... Legs are in good shape, about 80% done, torso's just a base, and arms are still to be started.

Either way, the outcome for now is actually good looking even if I say so myself. That may change according to the progress of the torso and arms, however.

I got a little sick in Peru, but I am otherwise fine. My MOC, as you know, is on standby. I will reveal it in about a week when I'm back in Lima and have some time to kill. Soon I will be going to Macho Pikachu ;P as someone called it. Gentleman Scarecrow has been making the rounds with me and found a new friend (nemesis?) while watching Andean Condors. I'll post his adventures later too. Ciao-Ciao!

Well, I've had a few delays (schoolwork), but I've gone a little further. Still need to add arms and feet plus do some detailing, once I find more time for this. Right now I have an essay to write and another one coming aswell. Might be a close call to finish and photoshoot.
