I’d like to first thank all of those who participated in the eliminatories! We had a great qualifying round with, for my surprise, even more contestants than last year’s cup!

I also would like to apologize for all the delay in starting the first round, further rounds will not be like this.

In this first round we’ll have a main category, which will be Toa/Hero. Each of you will have a different assigned sub-theme and opponent, and in that sub-theme you will have to either build a toa, or a hero (Hero Factory). Remember to read all the rules again so there’s no confusion.

Size limit: Your moc may not be bigger than 25 cm, which is already big for any toa or hero.

An entry for the first round will be considered valid and reviewed by the judges only once a link to the said entry is posted in the "Round One Entry Thread". When posting it to the entry thread, you must also put a number above it, stating for which match-up it is meant to. In your creation, you have to put a link to your opponent’s entry or homepage. Both are equally valid.

You have until the first o july to submit your entries. If you think you won't be able to make it, WARN us so we can give your spot to others that are interested. Also,I'd like to hear a word from all 48 of you who passed to this round, just to know you are clear with everything.

4. Reinterpreted character - imagine how a non-Lego character would look like in the Bionicle or Hero Factory universes. May be any comic book, movie, book, story or history character. Picture of said character is necessary on the page for reference purposes.

5. Good old hero - an elder-looking Toa or Hero. (or, in a variation, an older version of an existing character)

6. Over-the-top Toa - It's like an ordinary elemental ToaHero, but its theme must be carried out to insane levels.

7. Unnusual Weapon Hero - make a hero that uses a very weird and unnusual weapon or set of weapons. I suggest a humorous approach in this one.

8. Flying Toa/Hero – A Toa or Hero that is able to fly. You must, of course, show how so.

9. Shapeshifting Toa/Hero - A Toa that can transform into a different creature or a vehicle, or even a weapon.

10. Multi-Limbed Toa/Hero - A toa that has an unusual amount of limbs for an humanoid.Ex:five legs toa,four arms toa, three heads toa.
