Well, I saw it at about 12:30 a.m. December fourteenth/thirteenth. The commercials were SO long, that's how long it took! I thought it was awesome, personally, and I can't wait to see Smaug in action in the sequel next December. I was really disappointed with all the CGI As the orcs and Uruks in the ring were (mostly) all makeup, and really there. It was like you were watching a video game with some real people in it. Overall, the humor was very funny indeed, and Gollum was - well - Gollum! He was so funny, and I enjoyed him better than ever, though I felt sorry for him when Bilbo spared his life. Overall rating: 9/10 again, too much CGI, not enough real. Great movie though, recommend it for anyone! (Not easily frightened kids, though)

Yea, when the movie was supposed to start(10:00) there were 20 minutes of previews, not including the previews before 10:00!

Yep! When a group of people from my church, (including me) went to see it Saturday, we went 2 hours early to get good seating!
