It's pretty good for a WIP.

I like the the flag, the spears and the tree.

But I think the sand should be less flat. Add mounds ;) and the transition of grass and sand could be better. Maybe make a small watch tower between the two groups of spears. That would be good.

Firstly, nice overall idea for the moc, I like the jetty, butt you could add ropes or docking poles (to hook ropes from boats on etc) on it, I also the the flag and the water detail around it, but the others areas of water could do with some features such as a fishing boat or light house (medieval of course!) or a rocky out-crop)
and like space gypsy said, a less harsh transition from sand to water would be good!. well done on the work so far

Looking good. I like the general layout, but I think that a bit more texture in the water and ground would help. 'Figs on the dock unloading some cargo or something would also be cool. I look forward to seeing the finished MOC!
