K.S.T. QUESTION #2 LAMEST Bionicle Parts Ever!
Join to comment
 Group admin
The first question made me think we should make a LIST of the most USELESS Bionicle/HF pieces ever. We may need to use bricklink hrefs to show each other which part we mean. If we can make a good list of LAME PARTs we might be able to use it in Challenge Build down the road. Here's a chance to get your angst out on those maddeningly useless parts, that we just can't bring ourselves to throw out (they are Lego after all)!

Well I guess I'll start. I think that none of the pieces are lame because they all work well together, An inika head as shoulder armor, A turbine as a arm, all different combinations.

Touché. The spinner is the REALLY useless part

Actually many people, myself included, find that to be a very useful part, not at all obsolete.

Haven't found a useless part yet, then again I haven't found a use for every part either.

But I think the real useless parts are the ones that snap. lol

Now that I think about it, I think the Piraka heads were even more useless. The Barraki heads could actually be used for organic looking armour.

Either the rahkshi shells, the barraki heads, or the Jaller Inika chest armor

yea, but 1 i never owned the piraka, and 2 in order to use the barraki heads, you have to come up with some unorthadox design. just sayin :P

Found them actually quite useful for my Yellowjacket MOC I made years ago. is the lameness in the lack of the part?

I agree. Its a wonderful part, and I love the color, and you can do alot with just those parts. I've seen several creative Bio-MOCs use them. The annoying thing is when TLG releases a new color with only one or two molds available in it. The color may be a cool, wonderful addition, but if there's only going to be two parts in it then it would be a lot more useful to get the parts in an exising color.

I actuallt rhink there are no useless parts at all. Even those piraka heads, on which i'm going to actually try using them in my newest project, are not useless. The broken ones can be used too, as damaged armor for example.

If I had to pic one part that I don't like using at all, rendering it useless for me personally, it would be the Inika body.

rahkshi spines, they only work with that back part, unless you want spines on your moc, they're useless.

I'm sure you could find a use for Glatorian heads, but without the helmets I find them very unhelpful. I also dislike the Agori/Av-Matoran chest piece.

I find the trans glatorian heads very useful for a wide number of things. As for the one piece torsos, well I tend to design my own torsos anyway, so uhh... yeah lol

Tohunga left arms. They only have one connection point, can't throw disks, and are useless for just about anything. If you work them into a normal MOC, you deserve a medal.

But the lamest part I'd say would be the squid from the Barraki squid launchers.

I actually used the mistika launcher as an ovipositor on my Bio-Cup R2 entry, Senkhrast. It has 3 points of connection, but even so it made the building of the rest of her body very, very tricky.

I NEVER used them in a MOC xD They're rather flooding my LEGO boxes than doing anything useful. Which other parts do you mean, by the way?

I don't think there're useless parts, but I find a lot of them very hard to use. Most examples came from the ones my pals has said, like the Carapar's armor, due to his unique color scheme; the Rahkshi spine itself, or the Barraki Squid Ammo.
