Hero factory sets
Join to comment
I made this topic in case anybody wants to say anything about hero factory in general (hope you guys don't mind). Talk about kits, ideas, or anything hero factory!

I'd like to say some things about the breakout series. While most of them are great kits, they do have their flaws. For example, I find that they look a bit strange without chest plates. While I like the new body armor and core, I feel that they could have designed a new chestplate for heroes.

Something I REALLY liked about breakout, though, is the fact that heroes no longer have armor pieces with their names on them, which they had in 2.0 and 3.0. They never seemed to match color schemes, and had almost no mocing purposes. I'm glad they got rid of them.

Chronos, Ro, if you didn't want members creating topics, I won't mind at all if you close this one :)

Yeah, please don't create convos without approval. Anyway, this is an okay thread, so I'll leave it.

I'd love to talk, but I gotta go judge. :3

I tell you what other piece has absolutely NO moccing purpose. Those firelord armor pieces with lava pattern on them. The colours on them have no matching colour scheme and all in all it looks...ugly.

I have to disagree with that. You should check out the lightning/heat toa made by callan. He used those really well on the legs.

True. And I found a use too, though it's not as good as callan's. For those wondering, this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/290808 is the MOC andrew is referring to.

Yeah, I have that problem, too. Some people are just good at incorporating different types of pieces into their mocs

While breakout wave 2 looks good, the nex helmet looks really odd to me... Also, stormer xl looks a bit... poorly thrown together...

I'm working on a moc called Toxin... He's going to be a robotic meltdown/rotor 4.0 upgrade... How does the idea sound?

Hmmmmm, sound interesting. But it can go either way: or it's a masterpiece, or It need alot of work. But the color scheme sound interesting. Always loved weird color scheme.

Core hunter does look cool. First time using a hero core on a villain, too!

wait, what? ooooohhhhh! the pic that I think you saw of him was one at the toy fair. they just slapped that on him because every villain comes with it (some promo code thing) and they didn't want a loose piece that some kid could take ya know. especially cause that one's code is exclusive to core hunter.

Okay. Even if it isn't actually part of him, when I get him, I'm gonna put it there anyway. It really adds to his character.
