No, it is not to late to join. For the first contest, your piano has to be a an upright piano and be built/posted by May 30, 2012. :)

A couple of questions: (1) Can I please build a grand piano? Considering that we have two months to build, I think that would be much more fun than an upright; (2) Just out of curiosity, why am I a moderate? And (3) NATE WHY DON'T YOU TRUST ME? I haven't a clue what a "doughnut piano" is...
Is it a specific piano company like Yamaha?

Okay then. I don't think you need to worry about me stealing your idea. When it comes to Pianos though, you can really only go so far. All the entries are obviously going to look somewhat similar.

Okay then, (1) for the first round, you can build any type of piano you want. And (2) you are a moderate because you are my friend and I would like you to be one and help me with this page. And for your last question, your piano can be made by any company you want.

Okay thanks! The piano company question was actually directed at Nate, sorry for the confusion. I appreciate that you made me a moderate, but in contest it's generally more fair if all the contestants are of equal rank. Just a thought.

Yeah, you don't have to make it from any company. The only reason I brought that up is because I was wondering if "DOUGHNUT" was a piano company. That's all. Build any kind of piano you want.
