I'll look them up. Remember our dragons are to be mostly brick built (since other groups are covering the bionicle dragons very well).

I like bionicle dragons a lot, but I thought it would be neat to have a group that was a bit narrower than some of the others. However, a bionicle/brick mix is okay. I think it should be at least 50 percent bricks. I know these dragons are hard. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your builds!

Yes I would think so. I am very glad to see your yellow dragon posted here. I really like that moc! As for the pokemon, they are fine. It would be good if they looked very dragonish though (since not ALL dragon type pokemon do). Good luck! I am sure after seeing your other mocs that you will do very well!

It's really harder to put bricks on a bionicle than you'd think. What if it's not 50?

Well if its not at least 50% bricks I will have to say no. BUT I might have some suggestions. Bionicle parts work great as legs, tails, necks, and even wings. You could try building a dragon with bricks of the same color as some of your bionicle pieces. Then use some technic bricks to connect say his tail. Its a really good tool if you are short on bricks, especially since bionicle pieces are very posable and sturdy. Brick built heads look better, but bionicle eyes can be fairly easily used on them. I hope I have not discouraged you from building. I hope my advice will be at least a little bit helpful. Good luck!

I am going to my grandparents' for a week, so I will not be building. The worst part is that I have just finished my Sharkworm! This dragon has taken me awhile, but I won't be posting him until I build a decent scene to put him in! I hope you guys will continue to build dragons! I will still be able to comment and view from my grandparent's house, so I will still Be looking for creations from you guys!

If you keep up the helpful advice, I might make you a moderator or admin! Your dragons certainly deserve it! Thanks for the help, and keep your eyes peeled for more dragon mocers.

Hey JD, I think it's time to make a contest called "The dragon monthly" or "The holiday dragon".

It's a contest where you can build dragons every month. And the months will have specific categories. Here are 3 examples.

Example 1: In November/Thanksgiving, we build a turkey dragon.

Examample 2: In October/Halloween, we build a scary/ghost/witch/monster dragon.

Example 3: In March/Spring, we build a grassy/green dragon.

And also the contest will never end as it is a monthly contest. So the contest is designed to help you improve on dragon mocing.

So what do you think about this contest? If enough people reply to this, I might make the group!

Interesting idea. I have not built in a while so I could use some motivation.

I need some motivation too. Do you want to compete in a MOC-off against me in dragons? I currently have a dragon work-in-progress and I want to use for something special when it's finish.

Do you accept my battle?

It would be an honor! You are quite the opponent! I am thinking that we make the contest on minifig scale dragons with medium to small sized dioramas. That is what we have been doing, so I think we could both handle it! Do you have any ideas for judges? (I hope your wip is not the nightfury) Lets hope we sharpen each others skills with this friendly competition!

Thanks for accepting! Deus, Stormbringer or hopeso would be perfect judges, but I doubt they would accept it. But I may know some other good judges. I'll make the group tommorow or in the weekends. I'm quite busy at the momment.

Sounds interesting. I made a spiderish dragon once for a contest. Just remember that it must be brick built. It can have a little bit of bionicle or hero factory parts, but try and keep those at a minimum. Good luck!
