Ceyron News-

[Annexation]
The minister of Phenmark is very close to agreeing on annexation. He is expected to sign the "official" documents drafted by the King sometime this week.

As for Luthia, annexation talks are still into balance, as well ultimately plan them to be absorbed into the Tyberian Colony.
-

[Colonies]
Colonial News includes ongoing production from Tiberus mainly. The war has temporarily slowed Methran production to a halt, and some factories in the Southern 30 mi or so have been ceded to Belkausta because of the conflict. However, these factories are a tiny percentage of what remains pumping out textiles and other resources found in Methra. The Senate has also designated a government-funded committee/administration to oversee material production in Methra.

Lastly, a large percentage of guard forces in the Colonial Army have been sent home to serve in the Reserves from Tiberus. Many still remain because of the possible annexation, simply to firmly oversee the large act.

This is only a fast/quick picture of it, but you can see the basic design. Borrowed heavily off of the Balaclavan bomber.

That is all for today.

Today, in Balaclava...

The Balaclavan engineers have finally woken up from their slumber and produced something worthwhile. Based heavily off of the Westland Whirlwind, it features twin turbofan engines pushing it to a max speed of 555 mph, 4x 0.50 caliber MGs and 2x 20mm cannon making it the single most heavily armed fighters in the BAF. What it lacks for in refinements, it makes up for in raw power. It can carry unguided rocket launchers, 1,500 lbs in bombs, and its shear weight of fire can chase away most things from the fight. We won't go so far as to say it's the best, or that it beats anyone outright, but you'd be hard pressed of find more powerful out there. Pics will be up tomorrow, I'm bushed.

Today, in Balaclava...

The General Staff has inducted the first series of rocket launchers into the Balaclavan army, the Mk 37 Katyusha. Having only 8 tubes, it nonetheless features a rapid reload and firing sequence that will deluge the enemy as dreadfully as its namesake, we hope.

SPECTRE forces under the command of Number 17 are beginning to move westward after establishing a base on the peninsula connected to the mainland continent. The force is beginning to head towards the Obliveron Union, a production rival of SPECTRE. It is suggested that conflicts may arise, as it is unlikely that the two countries will be able to create a lasting peace.

In other news, due to production limitations, the head secretary of the treasury Number 10, has been forced to decrease the naval and air strength of SPECTRE (Ergo, adjusting stats to fit new rules). There for, at this time there are now 2 Günther Super Battleships available for trade to willing nations.

Breaking news, a division of 40 Chimerian battle tank supported by 5000 infantry broke the border with the confederation early this morning, thinking that the war had been damaging to us, and that we were weakened. They soon found out that the war didnt take place in bulkana or anywhere in the confederation, and that damages had been light on both sides. When a tank division stationed in the area for the defence of the nation, and hidden artillery, and troops started to ambush there division all over there lines, and inflicted heavy casualties, they retreated losing all of there tanks and most of there support vehicles, our victories were in part due to our shoulder fired anti tank PAIT-447s, and anti tank rifles, which damaged there armored vehicles belived to be supplied, or stolen from Tongoria a long while ago. The announcement that the nation had reformed only came a short while ago, along with most of the NPC, and we belive there troops to be poorly trained. At 14:00 hours the parlement declared war on the nation, we have given them 6 hours to surrender, 100,000 troops were stationed in Bulkana during the war, and are getting ready to follow the retreaing enemy into the nation, We now belive that the nation is in the middle of a civil war with two sides fighting for power. Chimeria was once a far away part of the confederation and the other losing side used to be allies with us, they will most likly join us in the fight, there leader will be chosen to lead them as a confederate fraction state.

We also feel that we acted to soon to declare war on Ceyron, we would like to ask them if sometime in the future we could buy the rest of Methra for a large portion of money, as we should have tried in the begining, possibly around 300,000 million dollars, or more. Also if we could design the troops of Methra, as we have some great ideas. It might be cool if we worked together on ideas though.

Today the united goverment of the confederation has worked on ways to prevent future wars from happening, one such idea was to have the captured fractions as we call them, or NPC states reorginize there militaries as other nations have done. We already have plans for the Methran troops as stated as nearly 100,000 have been in reserves for a while awaiting combat once more, we dont plan on adding Lithuswanian troops into our forces, as most of the people in the nation feel some tention towreds them, traitors is one way of describing them.

If anyone is interested our goverment is actualy not a dictatorship, but a new type of goverment that I dont think exists on earth, and would be similar to englands goverment only with a dictator instead of a monarch, and with a parliment although the dictator would have more power than in england. The only thing is that we are a confederation, not a single country but a group of captured nations called fractions, that each have there own goverment, and a member in the parliment which makes the big decisions. Some like lithuswania with puppet goverments that are run by the dictator, and his staff.
Its sort of like the UN, only with the countries perminently joined under a parliment, and a dictator that makes a lot of decisions but is ultimently overruled by parliment, although his staff is in charge of the main military, and each nation also has a small military limited to 100,000 men.

Tonight, some of SPECTRE high command, specifically numbers 18, 4, and 10, are meeting with leading figures of the Obliveron Union to discuss possible peaceful solutions to encroaching land settlement issues. This is due in part to number 17’s successful military occupation of the peninsula on the outskirts of Obliveron, as well as increasing acts of aggression in the southern nations that may call for unification between the two powers. Tensions are high, and as propaganda minister number 12 pointed out earlier this morning, there are rumors that the Obliveron Union supported and aided rebels who fought against SPECTRE forces in the island takeovers; it is currently unclear if this issue will affect the peace negations.

My new PAIT-81 anti tank weapon, is similar to the panzerfaust, exept with a blast sheild, and the new Ukm-44 is equiped with a Käfer scope thats capable of seeing in low light conditions such as a very dark night, its a night vision scope, it provides the option of 1,1 vision, or 3 times magnification, it includes a black searchlight.

Today, in Balaclava...

We FINALLY have our first honest to goodness AAA gun, the MkVII twin 30mm cannon. Featuring an ROF of 115 rpm, it can ensure area denial of enemy aircraft from ships to land deployments.

Also, the first cargo plane has made it off the drawing boards. This will close the 2-day trip from Balaclava to our colony into a single 6-hour flight. It can carry up to two platoons (depending on how they're categorized) and/or 15,600 lbs of cargo (stats from the C-46 Commando). Mission-specific armament only, none carried standard.

Reports from Peace Negations:
After long peace negotiations, Number 12 has been allowed to address the SPECTRE public informing them on the process. “Little has been solved, though issues of boarder expansion are at the top of the list of disputes. Regarding rebel supporting, the Obliveron official’s strongly deny aiding them and insist the rebel forces have been instead supported by Meglaosha. We believe these statements to be false, though we are unclear how greatly this will affect the negotiations.”[Number 12] It was also announced that late in the negations the lead representative of Obliveron, vice president Hans Bondor, was removed from the proceedings after falling ill, suspected food poisoning is the culprit. Negotiations are expected to resume tomorrow afternoon, once the vice president regains his strength. Rumors has it that if the proceedings continue, Bondor may ask for all SPECTRE forces to leave the mainland continent, as he is a stark supporter of the forced removal of rivals.

It was also announced that late in the negations the lead representative of Obliveron, vice president Hans Bondor, was removed from the proceedings after falling ill, suspected food poisoning is the culprit.

Hans bondor shouldnt be that concerned, as food poisoning wouldnt really be an assasination attempt, as its not usually leathel. I had food poisoning when I was five, and was in real agony, it usualy means food wasnt prepared properly, such as poultry not being fully cooked, or milk being left out for more than three hours. E coli, and Salmonella are some common examples, just a word of advice if he makes the assasination exuse.

In other news The confederation has just finished designing our new King Condor, which will solve the problems with the older version.

Breaking News! Assassination in Obliveron!

[Some information withheld by Obliveron Union] Found early this morning, vice president Hans Bondor and his secretary were discovered deceased at their desks in the Obliveron Foreign Nation Embassy. From current reports, it appears that Bondor and his secretary were both shot just once by a very low caliber gun hitting them directly on their foreheads. Two bullet holes penetrated the thick windows, resulting in the immediate deaths of Bondor and his aid, Kronz Muntzer. Late yesterday, Bondor suffered from a bout of food poisoning, now seen as the first legitimate assassination attempt; though the affects from the sickness dissipated through the night according to authorities. Obliveron president Feodor Volkov, immediately blamed SPECTRE, and in specifically it’s Octopus Division known for political assassinations and espionage. The peace negotiations have disbanded, possibly indefinitely, and it is likely that war may be declared soon in retaliation, or when it is deemed who the assassin is.

The Consortium began its invasion of Megaloshia today, with a massive combined arms attack. The border was heavily guarded, with over 100,000 men, 500 fighters, 500 tanks, and 1000 various other vehicles. The enemy also has a strong defensive line with artillery and bunkers stretching all across the border.

We began our attack with a massive air attack to weaken the enemy positions. It included:
100 LAA-F-21 "Sparrows
150 Ze-190-Es
300 FI-33 Vipers

100 MJB-2S-1000 "Harpy" Medium Jet Bombers
72 CHAE-HB-200 "Juggernaut" Bombers
72 XFW "Griffen" flying wings-bombers

While we didn’t have that much of a numerical superiority in aircraft, our jet fighters achieved a 5:1 kill ration, giving us an edge. We encountered fairly heavy AA defenses, which did manage to down quite a few aircraft. Over 400 enemy ground vehicles were destroyed by our bombers and ground attack aircraft, and quite a few bunkers were leveled as well.

On the ground campaign, we began by launching a massive artillery bombardment with over 3,000 pieces, blasting holes in the defensive line. Over 1,500 of our ground vehicles, plus 500 various tanks swarmed over the border, supported by 130,000 soldiers. The battle has been rough, but we are making steady progress.

Additionally, the province of Serbia (For which I'm pulling the executive "I want the nations next to me named differently" lever) has been approached about annexation off of close ties with Balaclava, and the mutual difficulties with San Pernado. Talks at this stage are going well.

Talks with Serbia are going well. Deals are being hammered out as diplomats get closer and closer to an agreement. Georgia joined in the discussions, along with the provisional government of San Pernado.

On another note, a military parade was conducted in the capital city of Pondicherry, Balaclava today marking the "National Founding Day" with full dress uniforms on the 2,500 soldiers and tankers that marched or drove past crowds estimated to be in the 70-80,000 range. Flyovers of the new jet aircraft took place, wowing the crowds gathered. One jet flew too low and took out the windows on a building just before peeling off on a maneuver. The government has promised to repay the business in full.

Half-track designs are on the table, once the BL order comes in, ought to be completed. Tank destroyers, infantry carriers, ambulances, and mortar variants are expected.

Today in the Confederation people cheered in the street as the grand opening of the Johan towers was announced to the public, the towers are each 350 meters tall, and there are a total of four towers with connecting bridges, making it the largest but not tallest skyscraper in the world to date.

In other news the last remmnents of the harsh new Chimerian goverment was swept away, and replaced with the old one, it is now the fourth country in our confederation. No news on realesing photos of Methran, Bulkan, and Chimerian troops, but they will come when Im done with my inactivity, along with my new weapons, and vehicle, and Consortium stuff thats sitting on my shelf collecting dust.
I mainly am just tired of building lego, but once Im done with all my work, videogames, and other things I need to get done this summer I will post them all.

Chimerian ships are also planned, along with a destroyer, and land vehicle.

Chimeria was founded in 3000, B.S. ? by a brutal warlord named Kona Yang, who united the fourty kingdoms of the ancient realm of Qatie into the vast nation that it was, he also built the vast Chira walls along the mountan region under the modern day nation, to keep out invaders from the serbian straits. Just before its fall the city of the sleeping dragon (Ryû no nemuru machi) had a population of just over a million people making it the first real city. In 1321 A.S. the nation was conquered by the skyran empire (still need to add that to the map :3) The modern day nation is now ours, we plan on adding the nations troops, the black guard, the ICN Kona, and the lotus type-98 tankette

A dedicated tank destroyer and half-track are expected from design firms shortly.

Serbia is expected to expand its special forces and military shortly. The air force has picked up production licenses for the B-12, F10J, F12A, and most armored vehicles of the other nations. In turn, Balaclava, Georgia, and San Pernado have obtained the licenses for the Gearhard-Wernz truck that is expected to become the backbone of the light transport and attack arm of all the peninsular nations.

Im sure most of those nations didnt exist 4000 years ago, back in the ancient times.
In terms of distance compared to earth its only about as far as england from the middle east.
Yes that is far for people to travel back then, it would probably take four years to gap that distance, but I thought people did stuff like that, like Alexander the Great, the crusades, an the romans.
Also the serbians invaders were more like the goths, and huns, they were wanderers who didnt necessary stay in serbia or own the nation, but wandered and pillaged. But that was a very, very long time ago before the confederation existed.
So they were born in Serbia, but didnt live there at all.

(This will be my last INN update for a while)

earlier this week in the confederation, people went about there lives as usual. At 12:21 Am Est a radical of the GIA (Global independence army) detonated a high explosive bomb laced with a severe mustard gas in the Johan towers, the bombs instantly fell three of the towers and poured dust and gas over fifteen city blocks killing half a million people in the nations largest city.

That day it triggered goverment parliment to declare marshal law. All comunication with other nations has been cut of until mid july when the nation finishes reorganization.
The Belkaustan Confederation will cease to exist any further.
This was being discussed earlier now that Belkausta is no longer the largest nation in the confederation.
Belkasuta will cease to remain in power, and will be replaced by the new Confederation Coalition.
The leaders of the five nations will be run by a new leader who will remain nameless in this group until the deadline.
The leaders of the Belkaustan military have been reassigned to the new Coalition Defence Force along with the bulk of the military.
Stats will also be reorganized.

Today in the Coalition

We have been planning a counter for sonar systems used by rival nations. It will envolve a type of decoy in canister form that will cause sonar systems to be temporarly blinded from seeing subs or as a decoy. It will allow subs to engage ships, or escape. This system was used near the end of wwii, and how it works will be reveiled in one of my next updates. There is also word that these canisters will also have diferent varients that work in diferent ways, one is even planned to disrupt enemy radar.

We are also developing a sound absorbant type of material similar to the Anechoic tile developed by the kreigsmarine in wwii, this will make our Meerjäger much more stealthy and will help absorb sonar.

The goverments have been scrounging recources in order to help cure the pestilence that plagues the people of the shattered nations, The V sickness is said to be similar to SARS virus that causes respritory failure, only much worse with rashes, and boils being present 11 hours after being contracted. Unlike SARS its belived to spread through untreated water, and contact with other people.

Today, on the peninsula…

Balaclava has finally requisitioned new uniforms for its colonial soldiers, adopting an ode-green color choice wool cloth, with a pre-WWI US look to it. This will replace the current red and white uniform adopted in the spring of 1896. The standard armament for them will be a 0.30-30 lever-action, 11 round capacity rifle. Special forces, called “Colonial Scouts” will be trained as highly capable, mobile, and versatile fighters. Only a battalion of 1,000 (of 10,000 active) will be trained, chosen from the straightest shooters, fastest reloaders, and best grenade throwers in the outfit. They will have a distinctive blue star sewn on their hats and left shoulders as a symbol of status. The Lord-Governor has authorized a light cruiser fleet and light armored brigade to be stationed and raised by the indigenous people.

A class of light carriers has been commissioned, and planning is moving forward for this series. While the F2N is being fazed out of active service by the F10J/K for the main fleet, an upgraded example of this aircraft, designated the F2N-b, will be serving from their decks as primary air cover. This post-production variant (meaning we’re just overhauling what we’ve got instead of building new, saves money that way) features a sturdier airframe, a more powerful radial engine which boosts it to an incredible 25 mph faster than its base model, closed canopy, and improved gun sights. Other types, like the F1 biplane and smaller aircraft will operate from these decks as well. It is important to note that while these “Jeep” carriers are relatively potent when used properly and well supported, they are not intended to be used for 1-v-1 combat as a rule; usually merely as invasion supporters, sub chasers (stocked with autogyros), or secondary carriers in a larger carrier battle group.

Today, on the peninsula…

Balaclava has agreed to supply her colony with two cruisers, four destroyers, and 20 PT boats to form their navy. Construction has started on the cruisers and destroyers today (regardless of when I finally get around to posting their construction in the stats thread). Also, the colonial government has petitioned and received permission to operate two armored brigades that will conform to standard forces operated by Balaclava. In addition, Balaclava has purchased 300 Gearhard-Wernz trucks, where their ruggedness will be greatly utilized in a place where spare parts are hard to come by, and perhaps weeks in shipment. A small controversy arose when the commander of the Governor’s Provisional Scouts, an entirely horse-mounted cavalry scout unit numbering 500, refused to order his men to wear the new uniform over adherence to tradition. The Lord-Governor was consulted on the matter. After a short inquiry, it appeared that it was not the commanding officer alone, but the entire GPS from the lowest rank to the highest resented the change. Rather than have it become a nightmare of military discipline, the Lord-Governor simply said that to honor the longest-serving unit in the colony, they could keep the old uniforms as they wished.

Lastly, the 4th Mixed Air Wing will be stationed on the island to secure it further. This will be comprised of 40-60 fighters or fighter bombers, 60 dive-bombers, 10 medium bombers, and 20 torpedo bombers.

Serbia, a similarly mechanized state as Balaclava, with similar ancestry, has decided to revamp its military structure. With this, there will be several changes for the better. Additionally, they have decided to pursue their own sub-surface fleet. Formerly, though Balaclava had experimented with early prototypes, they found them to be “Prone to leaks, breakdowns, inexplicable sinkings, and other nefarious devices. They have claimed the lives of five of our brave sailors without any gain whatsoever. They have been found lacking in performance, strength, reliability, and are generally unfit for military use” according to the “Balaclavan Tribune” in an editorial dated July 18th, 1915. Surprisingly, that was a letter written by the Marshal of the Navy to that newspaper. A military panel eventually looked around and realized he was right. The technology was just not working; and that panel voted to end its development. Ever since then, no one on the peninsula has tried to resume testing. But now, with submarines coming to prominence in the world, it’s coming back around that, perhaps, new technologies can eliminate the early problems and that they are worth developing after all. Updates as they happen.

That half-track concept is still on the way, I promise. I plan on getting to that this weekend. Same with the "Jeep" carriers.

The Lord-Governor has this to say on the present situation:
"Yesterday, in a precision and coordinated strike of the nations of the peninsula--Georgia, San Pernado, and Balaclava--opened up a campaign on the nation of the Confederation. The reasons are our own, but we are acting in the interests of our nation and our ally's nation in this fight. We trust this war will be a contest of strategy, of machine, and of men conducted in an honorable manner. Our assurances to the Confederates that civilians will not be targeted.

"Our peninsular member-nation, Serbia, came to me and expressed their concern that the ally of the Confederation, the Consortium, would use their colony so close to the south of Serbia's coast to launch strikes in the form of missiles or aircraft against Serbia. They requested our support, and it was granted gladly. To the Consortium leaders: This should not be viewed as an attack or declaration of war upon the Consortium itself. No strikes against your homeland will be executed, and we respectfully request the same consideration in return. To all nations: The governments of the peninsula will not use the Serbian Straits, once under our control, to extort or interfere with international trades and relations. However, at times when our interests or the interests of our allies are concerned, military traffic may be restricted or banned on a country-to-country basis at our discretion.

"That is all, and thank you for your time."

On the note of the unjustified attack on the confederation, we would like to anounce that the stats are acctually incorrect, as the goverment has suffered a nearly total collapse due to economic meltdown a month ago. A week after the destrucing of the biggest city in a nerve gas attack (amusing that nobody cared enough to even respond to the tragedy) the goverment leaders where assasinated in the streets as buildings burned. All of the U boats of the nations were scuttled and sunk to prevent the citezens from capturing them. In the end a enviormental destroying agent BA-1u was released into the nations food supply and spread over the rain forests, the populus droped from over a hundred million, to just a few. They didnt face any resistance, and were probably very shocked by the eerie empty atmosphere of the now wasteland.

I want to express how disgusted I am with this group at the moment, and how once again I leaving conflict due to its lacking ability to support itself, it has nothing to due with leadership. I want to start building something besides WWii since its also tiring to build the same stuff over and over.
