Hi, thanks for inviting me, I look forward to adding my old and new projects. One question, is anyone in this group a member of Brickipedia: The lego wiki? if so, please visit The brickipedia project wiki, a site, I made to organise community projects and new animations.

And thanks for joining it! Sorry, no, I'm not a member there. In fact, I've haven't even heard of it.

But there is a Brickipedia group here in MOCpages.

I used Pinnacle studio but it's not for animation and I need to get a new program.

I use Windows Live Movie Maker, and I believe most people use this for animations. Do you have it installed in your computer?

No, I don't have it, I'll look it up now.
I tried MonkeyJam, and it was a tad confusing for my first try.

That's the good thing about Windows Live Movie Maker-it is basic, but sufficient. I'm sure it isn't as sophisticated as other programs, but for us, it is good enough.

I can't seem to download it?
It says I need to download something else first, and I can't find that anywhere.

Cool! That's good to know! I'm not that "techy,"
but I asked my Dad, and he said that Windows Live Movie Maker should be already installed in every Windows computer.

Ah, glad to hear we're not the only ones who had trouble with the FPS. :) It took a while for us to figure it out and get to know the features.

On the top bar, you will find things like "Home, Animations,Visual Effects etc...." Click on the one that says "Edit" and below "Speed" (which you probably can't click on because it's for videos according to my brother) is "Duration." Click on "Duration" and that's how you can change your speed.

BTW, to change the speed of an individual picture you're going to want to click on the picture you want to change with your mouse. To change the speed of multiple photos, click on a picture and shift+click on where you want to copy up to.

Hope this helps.

I use windows movie maker, 2003 (I think). I set the picture duration to about 0.125 (so around 13 FPS). It works kinda good, but there are better options (for example iStopmotion, for macs). Hope that helped

A contest, especially a Brickfilm one, takes a while. Your contest is a bit narrow in terms of theme, so it would be hard for people to participate (including me). You have already advertise your contest here, which I am totally fine with. I don't know what more you want me to do. You could invite the people here in this Club if you want.

Welcome to the group! There is usually a button to share your video on Youtube. Click it, then copy and paste the HTML onto your "add creation" main box. Hope it helps,

Unfortunately, I don't have any idea since I film with a regular digital camera. Sorry. But I'm sure some of the other members might have more of an idea.

In my experience, you have to use the "old embed code" as opposed the the version automatically given in the YouTube share window. I'm pretty sure there is a button in "Share" that allows you to copy the old embed code to your clipboard and then into the HTML of your MOCpage post. MOCpages certainly doesn't make it easy, that's for sure.

Yep, that's how you do it. And if you want to go into even more detail, you can change the size of the video by changing the length and width in the HTML so that the video is not oversize and doesn't cover the groups on the far right.

Hey, does anybody use Adobe Premiere Elements 10? That is the program I have, and I was wondering how to slide the pictures together into a movie.

Hi everyone, you guys wouldn't happen to know of any good stop-motion tutorials and tips, would you? I've been beginning to brush up on my skills again and would like to try a film at 15-24 fps this year, but haven't found too many comprehensive online guides yet.

Haha, I've been a fan of xxxfancypantsxxx for several years now. It's a pity he's stopped producing vids. His running technique never disappoints. His Force Unleashed video is...wow.

Have you seen Onbeatman's The Betrayal Part 1? It's also quite good and he is coming out with a new one fairly soon that he has been working on for some time now.
