Well now! This is the official start of the bonus round.
Specific Rules for this round:
- Please title your entry: "MOC Speed Contest Bonus Round:" and then whatever else you want to call your entry.
- Remember that the faster you build, the more points you will get!
- The round starts now, Friday the 3rd, and it ends midnight EST Tuesday the 7th.
- Please remember to mention which group/category you were in! It makes things easier for the judges!
- Thanks, and have fun!
The competitors are George G., Flare, and Ben the Lego Builder(if he is able to.)
The Judges are Quad, LukeClaranceVan the Revanchist, and Myself.
The bonus category is "The Medieval Battle of the Judges.": The judges are each the rulers of a medieval kingdom, and at war with each other. They must build something showing how they plan to attack, defend, or whatever, as long as it has to do with their war.
Thanks to Luke for refining our ideas into the final category.
I can't wait to see what you judges can come up with. Permalink | February 3, 2012, 10:58 am |

LOL! I'll have to start right away! Well, if I too can think of an idea ;)
And just to clarify, do we get the 5 bonus points if we post within 24 hours of you posting the category? Permalink | February 3, 2012, 11:18 am |

No, the 5 points turn to four at midnight EST. I am sorry that I was not on top of my game in getting the category out early. I am in Pacific Standard time zone and I forgot to get up early. That and a little wishywashyness delayed the post. I hope you can still get entries in. Permalink | February 3, 2012, 11:31 am |

So going by MOCpages time, I need to get my entry posted in about 12 hours :O Would you be able to change it to the following midday so we get a full 24 hours ;) Permalink | February 3, 2012, 11:35 am |

I guess that would be fine. I think my reasoning was that as long as both competitors started at the same time, it would be fine. Now I realize that I am not being considerate of how people in other time zones arrange their schedules.
I just now noticed that Flare agreed with you and since this is his contest. The official end for five points will be around midday tomorrow. Permalink | February 3, 2012, 11:45 am |

Hmmm...
I will do my best to build, but I am really unsure if I will have time. I am writing an exam all day tomorrow, and have lots of homework to do on Sunday. Permalink | February 3, 2012, 12:10 pm |

Hello there,
My model is complete, I've taken the photos and uploaded them to Flikr. However, when I came to uploading them here, the pictures were all squashed and messed up :( I will try again later but in the mean time, please have a view of it on Flikr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickpix/sets/72157629172310519/ Permalink | February 4, 2012, 12:44 pm |

Heh, obviously not following in my footsteps! ;) I must say, that's really an accomplishment in such a short time. I've started a castle recently, and it really absorbs time. Good luck in the competition! Permalink | February 4, 2012, 1:23 pm |

Did you try the simple uploader, if that doesn't work you can copy the flikr html and post it on a MOCpage.
