There will be. When they join the contest, you will know who they are.

I have one little question: Is LDD allowed?? Because I have about 35% chance that I wont be able built with ,,real,, bricks.

I wouldn't think so, I think that part of the challenge is to build a MOC, photograph and post it.

LDD will not be allowed, I will add that onto the rules.

When the first round of the game begins, there will be more details on what you will have to build.

What's the square root of pi? Nah, just kidding. Now, my contest related question is as follows: Will the quote you had us write play a significant part in the competition, or are you just trying to learn some cool quotes? This question sounds foolish as I right it, but anything's possible.

Ah I have another question: Is other materials allowed?? For example paper, wood, some metal etc. I hope paper will be allowed because it can be really helpfull when doing minifigs. Plus what about glue???

Quoting Vladimir R.
Hmmm another question (yes, sometimes I can be bit annoying with questions): Are modded bricks allowed?

Are 'other materials'/'modding pieces' allowed? Sure it is allowed. But you should remember: the judges might not appreciate your foreign materials and modded pieces, and reduce your score. So I would recommend playing it safe and not modding pieces and using other materials besides LEGO.

Just a few questions i came up with last night... 1.) Are you able to give us a hint on the topic?2.) are we allowed to photo edit? 3.) After we post our creation are we allowed to edit it? 4.)Does Starwars count as Sci-Fi? 5.) what will we be graded on ( so I know how to improve :P) 6.)Do I need a separate folder for this contest?

Ask any questions... preferably contest-related, but not necessarily.

Each judge gives a score out of 20, and with three judges that's 60. Now, my question is, do bonus points for speed apply to the total out of 60, or to each judges total of 20? ie. Is the perfect score 65 or 75?

1) Yes you are - it involves LEGO. 2) You can brighten your pictures up a tad and edit colours, but I wouldn't add digital backgrounds and after effects. 3) You can before you add it to the group, after that you can't. 4) Sure, why not. 5) We will tell you how to improve in our comments. 6) Not as far as I know.

We were told that we could give a score on a good build that was over 20. I think that each judge will include the points for your build's speed in their judging. So if you build an excellent MOC on the first day you could get 75/60. I think. Flare will confirm with me on this though.

You mentioned that for first day you award 5 bonus points, for second 4 points etc. But this is in what time zone. GMT? Because I am in CET.

It's probably going to be EST because that's what MOCpages time is.

When you add a MOC it says what date the creation was added on to the right of the main picture. I think that we will just be using that.

Cool, I suppose it wouldn't be much of a speed building contest if you only got 5 points total. I guess I better get cracking!

Sooo, since the pictures are all gone, should I even bother to post my entry right now, or should I wait until a later date? (I guess that could be a while)

If you have a flickr or some other photosharing service, like brickshelf, you can copy the 'share' html and paste it on your page. Of course you won't have a main pic.

OK guys, really sorry about the image crash yesterday. Since I couldn't control that and it wouldn't be fair to take away a bonus point from you, today (Thursday) there will be 3 bonus points for everyone! But then tomorrow (Friday, and the last day), there will only be 1 like the schedule predicts.

Thank you for asking!

You can just use minifigures, but you are supposed to do a recognisable scene from one theme- maybe a Ninja Dojo- and change part of it ie. have Jedi training in the dojo.

Will it be okay if I add video there? Because I started to make thing that have some working mechanism and it would be better to show it on video.

Video is fine - we want to see your creation's full potential!

I know this would be totally unfair to others, but yesterday we were in our new car, and had a flat during the time I would take the pictures where there would be natural light, not yellow light. Even then when I tried to take pictures of the MOC we had no batteries that had died, so I could not take pictures at all. So I would ask if I could add my entry today, and possibly have points deducted from my MOC. I know this is a lot that went wrong, along with other things that lead up to it, so I thank you for this Contest if letting me add my entry is not the answer. *Dramatic tears*

I really don't want to have to make exceptions to the rules, but if you post it before the day ends, I will accept it, but you will be deducted 2 points for it being late. I'm only letting you out easy on this because I know that you are a trustworthy person, but from now on no more late entries will be accepted.

Go upload it quickly!
