Ok. Going to avoid naming names for the moment. Please avoid shouting out the names involved, trying to be "under the radar", for a week or two anyway.

About a year ago I wanted a custom figure for mocs. Long story short, decided I wanted to do a more professional run, so designed a figure, contacted a factory and was going to produce them, the factory wanted a large amount for the pieces, I pulled out and they went ahead and did it anyway for a major player (not lego).

So, can I use the figures I designed in an moc here?

The name is similer to a certain south eastern American culture that is a mix of French and African.

What, for posting the MOC on MOCpages? If so, it's better you ask that question in the MOCpages Help group.

Ok, sometimes I'm a little in my own head. I'll rephrase.

I have a few kewl ideas for the contest, and at least two of them would would include figures microfigure sized. Now, I designed a custom figure a year ago meant to take the place of the lego microfigure, especially since they stopped making the games though only coincidencily. I especially like the various military figures I made sure were there. Depending on which direction I decide to go, which depends on if I can use these (either or non or mandatory mini and or microfigures (or can I use some of thede and lego figures? I'll make it interesting.

And actually, if I went to the main boards it'd be to try toget this figure banned.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but even this is not for MOCpages Help.

So, you're wondering if you can use a custom made figure in your contest entry?
If so, I would say yes. However, I am primarily a purist, so I would prefer that custom elements are kept to a minimum. If they enhance the MOC and can't be substituted out with real LEGO, go for it.
