Hey chaps,
Well we're extending the deadline again, due to picture issues. As before, a week has been added to the round. Round 5 entries are now due by 11:59pm (MOCpages time) Sunday, 3/17/13. With the exception of the change in days, all other rules for the round remain the same.

Link to the original Round 5 thread if you want to refresh on anything: http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=18639&topicid=88106

Thank you for your patients and cooperation!

And the pictures are back...

If you four all upload your entries today, we'll just continue with the original R5 dates and ignore this deadline extension.

It is not possible for me to upload the photos today, because I am not at home.

We can set the deadline to wednesday (or tuesday) if everyone agrees.

I have to say that I am not able to upload today, too. I attuned myself on the new deadline, but wednesday sounds like a good compromise.

Um, just wondering, but why can nobody enter creations now?

I have finished my MOC, but as he said, adding creations is disabled.

I think everyone forgot about this contest. Maybe you should remind them.

Quoting Nate Beckett I think everyone forgot about this contest. Maybe you should remind them.

Well there are only four players still currently in the game. Two of them have posted their R5 entries and two will hopefully be posting later tonight.

Would you like me to remind them?

I first answered Ian's request to start the final this night with yes in my entry's comments. But now I thought about it again and changed my opinion.
You would normally post the final on thursday, right? So we would win only three days. I would like to have this short break between the rounds. And a few days more or less should make no difference.

Okay, we'll just stick to the norm then.

Congrats to Jacob and Martin on making it to the finals! Also, Mr. Spacek:

Just wondering, how do you select the judges for the MELO?

Half of the judges I know in "real life" (Chris, Max, and tie-breaker judge: Paul) and the other half are prominent Fellowship of the Brick members that I knew back when I was a moderate for that group. They also partnered with me and helped me run the "Lord of the Rings Trilogy Contest" (http://mocpages.com/group.php/16356) back in the day.

Okay, thanks! I would like to judge, sometime, but I am none of those roles.;D Also, I like to participate. This is an AWESOME contest. Thanks for organizing it in the first place!

Would it ever be possible for me to become a judge?

I think that's unlikely (at least in the next 2 years). Almost all my current judges have said they're willing to serve again. If I were to select an entirely new board of judges, there are some others I'd have to approach first. I also don't know how long I'll keep doing this, I might eventually hand it off to someone else. All that to say, it's not utterly impossible, but don't count on it anytime soon. I hope that answers your question. :)
