Lebanon has taken a great economic turn for the worst with the regional war afflicting its capacity to trade and tourists have been reluctant to visit cities like Beirut. Furthermore, the civilian populace feels extremely threatened by the fact they have nothing more than a militarized police force to protect the national whole, thus the FREE is enabling its emergency security rights and dispatching a marine division to the country to provide security for the people; this isn't a prelude to war I assure you.

Also, the FREE's latest UAV was displayed yesterday. The final order has been put at twenty-four (24) units to compliment our stealth air fleet. With six (6) already in service, the order should be completed quickly and without much intervening financially. Our other program, the upgrade to the BM-21 MLRS, is making great progress and should be released by the end of the week if all goes well. Our marines have expressed the greatest interests in buying the kit and having the army hand over older units to be upgraded to it. This would enable them to have a logistically light vehicle that can fire appropriate munitions in an expeditionary battlefront.

As for group happenings:
-Europe is pretty quiet after all the "bad guys" were defeated thanks to a certain N. American player backdooring everyone. The defeated parties are governments in exile in S. America.

-Russia and Arabia duking it out.

-And that's really pretty much it. Everyone's all big and powerful and comfortable so there's not much going on.

Most of these things you prolly already know, but I forgot how long you've been out and how much you actually read. So . . .

I wouldn't agree.

Fair 'nuff.

In FREE news, our upgrade package for the BM-21 has been completed. Unveiling of the vehicle and weapon system should occur tomorrow with live-fire demonstrations for the public. The munitions specialized for the artillery system are undergoing rapid production thanks to earlier investments in communications and electronics on both the civil and military markets. Still, it'll be quite some time before actual surpluses shall be created and we'll be stuck using standard, un-guided munitions until that time comes.

Additionally, a private venture was launched by VDS to create an intermediate anti-ballistic missile and anti-air defense package which includes a self-sufficient radar and electronics suite for a scoot-and-drop operational status. More or less, the design calls for a tow-behind tractor trailer with missiles designed to shoot down intermediate- and short-range ballistic munitions, cruise missiles, manned and unmanned vehicles, and at least collide with warheads from ICBMs/MIRVs. ETA for its completion is unknown, but the prime mover will of course be the artillery tractor that transports our new BM-21 unit.

One question, I've never been in a war in this group before. Could someone explain how it works? I don't want to die knowing I could have stopped it.

Evan's uniting the N. America continent. That's all there is to it.

As for how the war thing works, you'll have to communicate through Flickr Mail or e-mail depending on the resources you have available account-wise. You write defensive/offensive orders and send them to the Combat Moderator, which in this case is Ultramarine. You send in one set of orders per Combat Report and the orders are due whenever the CM says they are.

Completely ignorant of the world around him, the Emperor made a speech today on the steps of the Senate indicating how infrastructure investment in our newly claimed lands are starting to pay off. Military production has lulled, as nearly all equipment that was damaged in the previous war has either been repaired or replaced. Of course, the armed forces continue to train hard to maintain top readiness and maximize their combat effectiveness, however the citizens of Rome are enjoying a nice period of domestic peace and prosperity.
An update to the Roman Combat Uniform is being instituted, as 3 new camouflage patterns will be replacing the current patterns on Roman Army fatigues. These patterns will be issued based on unit location, so units stationed in Europe will receive this ( http://www.hyperstealth.com/deceptex/Hyperstealth-Deceptex-Golf-2-.jpg ) pattern, while units stationed in North Africa will be issued this ( http://www.hyperstealth.com/deceptex/Hyperstealth-Deceptex-Golf-3.jpg ). Units stationed in Europe will also receive a special, seasonal camo pattern for use in the winter months ( http://www.hyperstealth.com/deceptex/Hyperstealth-Deceptex-Golf-5-.jpg ). All equipment and kit will still be issued in the standard Ranger Green, excluding headwear and helmet covers.
An update to the M2 Centurion Main Battle Tank is also in the works, however it is unknown when this new model may enter production.

3) Mocpages has a nonsensical filter that causes plenty of our comments to disspear for no reason
4) Flickr has none of those flaws.

The only thing Mocpages does better is its "Recent Activity" box, but I would say that its not exactly a good enough reason to stay with this dinosaur.

After weeks of solid intelligence gathering, the goals of King Cobra has been achieved- the next phase of the operation has proceeded.

Several of our most veteran Air Force squadrons have spent the past month training for carrier operations- while it is tricky, the advanced autopilot on the Sparrow and Condor make it far easier than what it was, fortunately. Until the carriers are completed, they will continue to master these skills, among other naval aviation related tasks, so that the moment the vessels are launched, they can go operational.

Today is a day long-prophecized in the Union Realm. Today, we return, and take back our clay! Because of the one-month rule regarding nations, the communist occupation of North America has collapsed back into chaos.

Operation: Restore Hope was given a green light, after nearly a month of our fleets patrolling our waters in boredom. As the Union Navy approached the west coast it formerly guarded, it was realized that the Red Horde of the East had apparently either retreated or split into smaller people's republics. Led by Governor Brooks and former Governor Nicholas Shelton in their own HAT-5 tanks, the ruins of Hamilton were re-claimed, and will be re-built. Smaller forces led by Chairman Wilson of OAAE reclaimed Vancouver and Seattle, while Director Taylor of UNDEAD and White Ops Commander Jackson with his best agents shot their way into San Franciso. In Alaska, the re-conquest was led by a small force headed by General Bedford. All former territories are being seized.

In the Pacific, the apparent collapse of the Chinese communist regime has also given the exiled French a chance to shine, in Operation: Firestorm. Hawaii and several other island groups are quickly being reclaimed. Our Austrian friends are securing Panama as well. Peruvian auxiliaries are gathering on the border of Chile.

From the ruins risen newly,
to the future turned, we stand.
Let us serve your good weal truly,
The Union, our homeland.
Triumph over bygone sorrow,
can in unity be won.
For we shall attain a morrow,
when over our Union,
there is radiant sun!

As of 9/25/38, the French Naval and Marine Forces are assaulting all former Pacific colonies of the Pacific Union and French Empire under the command of Fleet Lord Arcturus Brooks. Their actions are a part of Operation FIRESTORM, which in turn is a part of Operation RESTORE HOPE.

All objectives have been met on time. Casualty count low. SUCCESS IS IMMINENT.

It's been two days since Operation: RESTORE HOPE began, and so far, there has only been pockets of communist resistance. Collaborators are being rounded up in the streets, while people who refused to bow to affirmative action, liberalism, and redistribution of the clay are being rewarded for their bravery (level: SO).

Hamilton is just a smoke net of concrete roads and rubble heaps, but our stock of MT-1s are bulldozing it all away. In the place of the old, a city of Southern-style manors shall rise, with lushly vegetated streets and paths. Old East Portland will become housing, while North Portland... We won't talk about North Portland.

Our tricycle corps has linked up along all major interstate networks, and now we're moving inland, defeating evil Reds and parasite minorities as we go. It'll be a few weeks before everything is secure, but we're off to a good start.

Chile is being convinced to join with us, seeing as how their Red puppetmasters are no longer there to protect them.

Kinda. Nick and I are alive doing things, because why not?

In the Union Reclaimed:
Yesterday, being Union Day, John Hood made a triumphant return from the dead. It turns out he wasn't assassinated, just so badly wounded he had to disappear for fifteen years. James Brooks, haunted by his failure to defend the homeland, has ceded his position as Governor to the Eternal One. Arcturus Brooks, Fleet Lord of the Union Navy, has been made Lt. Governor.

In return for services rendered, King Nicholas of France has been named Viceroy of the Pacific, and will rule from his seat in Tahiti. The rest of the Union Senate expressed some skepticism, but Hood has a plan for them too... As Lenin brought communism to Europe, we shall bring fascism to America!

In the homeland, the Reconquest continues east, to our former borders. Already, the industry we evacuated from the homeland (ask Ultra if you're interested) is being returned to the empty concrete slabs we left behind, and we're using the nice improvements the communists made while we were away too. Peru has sent troops under the leadership of our old friend Carlos Astucia into Chile to persuade the government they're better off with us. In Brazil, our agents are quick at work making sure the new dictator is friendly to our interests, after the unfortunate death of our ally. Argentina will pay for its sins...

The Far Left created this disaster, now the Far Right will fix it.

Today, troops began marching into the ex-Arabian puppet nations of Africa, liberating them, and welcoming them back into the future of African sovereignty. The goal is to, through force and persuasion, control all of Africa, because why not. Madagascar is still dead, though.

Operation King Cobra has unfortunately been cancelled due to its target parameters changing, but the carriers and aviators that would accompany it have entered full service, along with the other vessels. The Air Force, in this time, has been fortified well beyond its peak of its action, winning glory in the skies of Europe (despite rather...rushed blanket statement CMing), striking the Axis for no reason other than lionizing the nations together (and kickbacks to GTC).

I expect this to be the penultimate update, just want to get all of Africa, then I will let you two live in your fan fiction world.

There was great rejoicing when the forces of the Federation marched into Samaria, Tehran, and Baghdad victorious conquerors! The successful Japanese invasion of Yemen has led to its utter collapse, and Saudi Arabia and the rest of the nations on the Arabian Peninsula are suing the Federation for peace. Israeli forces pushed all Arab forces back into their lands and seized the capital of Jordan and the mud and mire pits that used to be Cairo. However, in the interests of peace with the Africans, those Israeli forces are on their way out tonight.

In all of the member states, men and women have been encouraged to join the armed services. A massive fleet is being assembled at the moment to tout success.

The PCU has fallen silent, and intelligence shows that the government has somehow begun releasing its grip on the populace. The state has been declared dead, on the verge of Anarchy.

Today, a grand armada of the navies of the word appeared off of American waters, ready to engage the PCU in one climactic battle. In hours of lethal combat, the fleets fought valiantly, but there was only one possible outcome- the AAA's destruction of the PCU navy in at strategic locations along the East and West coasts of the Americas. Landings are underway, and they are encountering fierce resistance from the ideologically conditioned PCU warriors. This war will be a hard-fought slaughterhouse.

Today, the Anti-Anarchy Alliance (funded heavily by Global Combat Technologies) has announced the pacification of the PCU. Portland fell weeks ago, and the combined armies of Asia, Africa, and Europe have quelled any disorder that remains on this world. Portland will not be rebuilt.

Venter, the enigmatic leader of South Africa, has assumed the title of Supreme Chancellor of Stability, head of the Council for Global Peace.

CEO Hacker of GTC periodically checks his balance sheets as the combined armed forces of the world order massive amounts of materiel to replace what was lost in the heroic quelling of the PCU by a force 8x its size. The CEO sends a few emails to Venter occasionally, congratulating him on his timely rise to "supreme" power, but reminds him who now controls 100% of the armed forces of the world, and whose wallet judges the fate of all.

Venter has promised to exterminate all the traces of AIDS left in the world, with his "Africa Plan" being the centerpiece of this plan. Madagascar will once again be home to happy workers, making use of their limited livers.

All in all, 'twas a good day to rule the world.
