Alright, so we have a situation, my account somehow was deleted, I have no clue what happened and I haven't heard anything from MOC Pages Staff on the matter.

All I know is, I am no longer an Admin, and seeing how I am a normal Member now, I can't make myself into an Admin nor can I moderate the Group's Activity.

I have no clue how to handle this situation at the moment, I would really hate to remake the group seeing that I did that during the Reorganization that occurred earlier and that was a pain for everyone involved.

I will contact MOC Pages Staff to see if they can make me an Admin, if not, I'm not sure what I can do to fix this mess.

I can't run the group at my full capacity and my MOC was deleted after it attained 70 Likes, so I'm the definition of upset at the moment.

Do you have any idea what could have gone wrong? I mean your an awesome guy. I insulted Arteesa C in MOCPages Help and nothing happened. Also, in any group I start, or am in a make/suggest to make a second Admin just in cases of some one else needs to run the group for a while, or a case of emergency such as this.

Nonetheless, I did notice your account was missing. I went to go over to your old homepage but your name was white. I didn't think you would delete your account, and I especially didn't think it would ever be deleted. Let me ask, did you recently log in to your email on a public unsecured wifi network (Starbucks, restraunts, etc.)? If so, your email may have been hacked. My dads email has been hacked twice from doing that. They may have tampered with your account.

In any case, asking the Admins is a good idea. If they can put you on top, great. If not, make a new HFR and send everyone over to it. Lock up the stuff here and put a link in every open topic.

Either way, I will go back and comment on Urocyon. I hope this gets resolved soon.

I haven't been on a Public Wifi, I'm not sure how my account was deleted, and I wouldn't just up a leave, not without fair warning.

That's the thing, I can't lock up this group, even if I did make an new group, and I don't want two HFR!!!, I just hope they can give me Admin Status again. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to... though you never know. I still haven't heard back from them.

And I was meaning to appoint a second Admin, but I kept forgetting with all the other things I had going on, this could have been avoided if I had made it a priority, if the Staff makes me Admin once more, I will appoint a back up Admin.

Also, if I do repost the Urocyon, it will have to wait for a bit, as I will be going home and will have limited access to the Web. I have the MOC in a word document, all that I would have to change is the image sources when I reupload the images. I just hate the fact that it would involve 70 people having to Relike it again for it to be restored.

How did you try to reach them? I suggest going over to MOCPages Help. But dont make a new topic. In any case, it should be a priority with either a second HFR or if you become Admin again. Unfortunately, I do not think that they will be able to give your Adminship back. If you don't hear from them within the span of a few days, you may be stuck with making a new HFR. Unfortunately, something like this would be on the bottom of the Admins priority list. And how would you decide who the new admin would be?

I sent an email directly to Sean, as I have discussed issues with him prior.

In all honesty, I don't see why they shouldn't be able to give me Admin Status, seeing that they have control over the site but that may be an issue of having to go through the system.

Also, I just want them to do that instead as it would be easier on the members and myself, so I'm being rather hopeful.

I really don't want to make a Second group, seeing that this is the second group to the original and it would be a pain for everyone to move again, for those who were the first group. Also, seeing that I can not delete this group, having two groups would lead to confusion, even if I clarified.

And How would I choose, that is why a second Admin wasn't appointed, I was debating who.

Needless to say, this is a mess that I really didn't need to happen the day I leave to go back home and I'm borderline furious at the moment.

Your a really smart guy, I know you can figure out the best way to fix it. And my personal method for appointing an admin: Appoint a few candidates to moderator. The one who helps the group the most in a set period of time becomes admin.

make a new hf rates!!! group and everyone leave this one

That doesn't sound like a good idea. I feel like Andrew's idea at the momentis to keep this group active. Either way, intend to stick till the bitter end.

too bad to hear about your account mess, even worse that you lost such a popular moc, I never got the chance to give you a full review.

Yeah, it is a shame to lose such a MOC, however, you can still give me your opinion on the Creation....

I am more concerned with the Group, seeing that I lost Admin status, MOCs can be replaced.

I just wish I had appointed a second Admin prior to this mess.

Hopefully, the new method of requesting works out.

sean (and the other admins) have repeatedly stated they have no powers in groups. (which I find odd actually) so granting admin status to anyone would be out of their hands.

They've mentioned this normally when people have been complaining about getting kicked out of groups, having groups they want deleted, groups with no active members, etc.

They have discussed making changes to the website to grant some functionality that allows them access to any group, but I think it's something for WAAAY in the future.

I think the simplest solution is to start a replacement group using the new account. Someone could post a link to it in a conversation here so people know this group is now closed for new reviews.

I know it's a pain, but I don't think this eventuality was planned for when the boards were built.

The Admins have also stated that there are difficulties reinstating deleted members accounts. I'm not sure (I'd need to check) but they may have said it wasn't possible.

I think it was Mark who confirmed your account was not knowingly deleted by anyone in the admin team from MOCpages, which suggests to me that if you didn't do it yourself by accident, it is the result of a malicious hack, a virus, or a glitch on the MOCpages part.

Alright so I just heared again that the staff has no power over groups (which is odd). I know you've started the blogs, but I believe another group is best. But it is your choice HumpFree.

Yeah, I figured that they wouldn't be able to give me my Admin Status Back, it was worth a Shot.

For right now, this group stays, seeing that I have limited internet access, I would prefer to at least wait on making a Second Group.

Also, I have an idea, the use of a Blog for making Requests, that I want to at least try out before resulting to such measures. So, when I resume Reviewing back in January, Blog Method will be used, I have been told that it really isn't a hassle by my Testers, so it shouldn't be an issue.

However, if the alternate method creates a great amount of distress, I will make a replacement group, though I would prefer to keep this group active, much unlike before when I did the reorganization months ago, I cannot delete this group to reduce confusion.
