I usually spend a while coming up with the idea, then I spend a couple hours on the building, until I feel that its done. I normally go a couple days after doing gradual edits as I find undesirable features.

Sometimes I'll get it all done in one day sometimes it's a monthlong project like my angry birds V2. Or sometimes I build part and procrastonate and eventually built the rest.

I Don't really have a colour scheme, but in my recent spaceship MOCs (I haven't posted them yet, so don't look for them) I have often found myself using light bley as a secondary colour.
