Welcome to the FINAL FOUR of the 2011 MocOlympics! Wow, time really flies huh? First allow me to congratulate the top players this year. Each of you WILL be receiving a prize for making it this far! (we'll deal with addresses and whatnot later). So congrats to you all!
Now then... Round six starts NOW and will end at 11:59 pm, MOCpages time (Sunday) November 27th. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Your entry MUST:
Be titled "MocOlympics (may be shortened to MO) round 6 "You" vs "Your opponent." You may title it anything you wish after that but that must be the opening of the title.
Near the TOP of the entry you must state what category you are playing in and you must have a WORKING link to both the MocOlympics group AND your opponent's page. If you post your entry first then their homepage is fine, if they post first then link to their entry please. (You do not have to change it to their entry after they post but it would be nice to them if you did. Again, not needed and you will NOT be docked in any way if you don't. Your choice)
You must add your entry to the group pool (no, you don't need to leave any links, adding it to the group is good enough). Once you add it to the group, that's it, it's OURS and NO changes may be made. We STRONGLY suggest that you get feedback from others before adding it to the group. If any changes need to be made please do so BEFORE you add it to the group pool. The judges will NOT look at it until it's added to the group.
Once you and your opponent have posted and added to the group, the judges will vote on the mocs. There will be SIX judges for each matchup. You must receive 4 out of 6 votes to advance to the next round. In case of a tie, a 7th judge will be brought in to break the tie.
Your judges are:
Chris Phipson, Matt David, Mr. Xenomurphy, Stacy Sterling, Dave Kaleta, El Barto
Alright, if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Here are the categories...
George G. vs Jason Corlett in:
Forced Perspective: Create a false sense of scale in your moc. We're leaving this category WAY open to allow for creative freedom. As long as your forced perspective is the focus of your moc, you're good to go.
Leda Kat vs Giovanni Seynhaeve in:
Movie Poster: Create a LEGO version of a movie poster! It doesn’t have to be a blockbuster movie, any flick will do. Just try to stay as true as possible to the original. Please include a copy of or at the least, a link to, the original. You can build this as a mosaic, a 3-D model with figs (minifigs or other scales, we're not picky), or however you'd like.
Good luck to our final four players!
