Ladies and Gentlemen, today it is with pride that I announce to you all, the rise of a new PO-contest!
This contest, like most contests we host, is held across all of our boards, meaning that the pool of competitors can become very large. It is with this reason in mind, that any entrants may enter in only ONE branch of PO.
The entries themselves must also qualify on standard PO-rules: No spamming, cheating, etc. and the contestual rules themselves. Provided by one of the judges, they are stated below:
1. Frame must be non custom. Inika build, metru, ect. This means that you'll have to start out with a frame made out of standard bionicle/herofactory pieces. The armor and everything else is all up to your own creativity.
2. Illegal friction and cut flex tube are allowed.
3. Must be at least the size of a toa mata sized set.
4. Post a picture that proves the judges that you are using the required frame.
Now, with all of this in mind, I shall explain the theme for this contest. It has been named Complex Lies because your challenge, my dearest builders, is to make a moc look as customised as possible, while it is actually made out of standard-issue Bionicle/HeroFactory parts to make up it's frame.
The better it looks with fewer parts used basically, the higher your score will become. This challenge will hopefully prove to be a nice braincracker. It also means people with fewer parts to spare can participate for once.
Deadline is 15th of November. Judging will be done by a team independent from the admins.
Warning! stupid question ahead: what if we use an inika build frame, but the inika build is solely contained in the torso and the limbs extend from there after, is that acceptable, or am i over thinking this? Permalink
Can I do anything I want, as long as the lowest level is a standard frame? Like, if I made a foot tall titan with a standard frame as his core with attachment to his feet and legs, would that be acceptable? Permalink
