Piece Out Collab

Piece Out proudly presents, the first Piece Out collab.
The purpose of the collab is to have a group project where all members can join. Even the members on the Flickr, Deviantart and MOCpages branches of Piece Out. And, of course make a whole bunch of cool MOC's.

Now for the theme, after discussing it with fellow member we came up with the theme Robots vs. Aliens. This means everyone can choose what they want to build and in what style. This is also for a diversity in the MOC's (mechanical and organic). The MOC's are connected with a little story behind them.

"The Helios corporation is specialized in finding resources for Earth's survival. However, they couldn't find it all at Earth so they had to go to other planets to find what they needed. They found a planet called Eos full with rare minerals and other resources that could ensure Earth survival for another 112 years, time enough to find another planet.

Eos has a landscape similar to Earth (deserts, mountains, caves, oceans, jungles,...) but is covered with a layer of clouds, meaning there is less sunlight on the planet. This gives the planet a dark and mysterious appearance. Having an atmosphere where humans cannot survive and the Helios corporation has to rely on robot units for their success.
What the Helios corporation didn't know is that the planet is full of wildlife who will do anything to protect their planet.

Humanity's survival is at stake, who will win?"

Helios (Robots)
*The robots have red/orange/yellow armor with as secondary colours black, grey and/or white (of course you can some more colours, but red, orange or yellow have to be the main ones)
*They are on Eos to mine for the resources as well as to protect themselves from the wildlife. (Drilling units and battle units)
*Can have any size or shape, but the most common shape is humanoid

Aliens
*The aliens can have any colour, but all share one thing, some parts of their body have transparent colours.
*The aliens have no society or technology on their planet. They can be seen as animals with one purpose, defend themselves against Helios so no weaponry, mecha's, vehicle (unless of course certain species work together?)
*Can have any size or shape (but not the normal humanoid shape)

Now go build something already! Questions will be answered by Sparkytron (Dylan Mievis)
As long as MOC's are made this will continue, if after a period MOC's are no longer made we will stop the project/collab and maybe have another one if this one proves to be successful ;D

(For two examples of a Helios Unit and an Alien check the comments below)

As long as MOC's are being made I say we let this thing keep going. If not, then the we are going to stop at 31th August. And you can make as many as you want ;D

I'd quite like to give this a try - with the recent theme for round two of the Bio-cup, I'm in quite the mood for making mechs. If we wanted to give a bot a specific theme (for example, if it was jungle combat it would be camoed as such), would that be OK?

As long as it has the colors red, orange or yellow are included I'm ok with it
