Wow, the LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Lamborghini Veneno all unveiled at Geneva?! My hands feel so restless! I can't wait to sit among my (or should I say "our") LEGO and build a new car. It's genuinely torturous to have to sit on the couch all day while I recover.... I wouldn't say it's a fun thing to do.... This is really killing me!

Worst Ferrari name ever! Car looks great though.

Yeah, its name will take a while to get used to. I think it's my new favorite car, though.

The convertible seems really cool too.

It's a scrotal chord cyst surgery that I'm recovering from.

I think the Lamborghini Veneno is as ugly as heck! I love the P1 and LaFerrari though. I think Ferrari could have came up with a much better name. I really would have perfered F70.

The Enzo is very cool, a truly historic car. The LaFerrari looks epic and has epic statistics, apart from the name... But seriously, How can they make an 800 bhp strong V12 plus an 160 bhp hybrid engine? This car amazed me!

I think the McLaren is epic too, but agreed that the Veneno is just ugly!

My all-time favorite Ferrari is the F40 though.

Ouch. You have my sympathy - the same thing happened to me when I was 19, and it's no fun is it ? Hope you make a quick recovery. As for this supercarfest, I'm strangely ambivalent about all of them, except perhaps the upcoming Porsche. I'd rather have a GT86 that's easier to enjoy - If yours goes missing, Ape, you now know where it might be...

I like the Enzo, but I prefer the F40, and much prefer the F50. I don't think the P1 is ugly, but its not exactly stunning!

I agree. I thought I read wrong at first when I saw that its engine is a 6.3 liter V12 which revs to 9250 rpm!

I think the Enzo is epic! I don't know why people say it's ugly. The P1 is also really cool. La Ferrari is such a bad name. Can't wait to possibly see on of these at a car show some day. The Bugatti Veyron is a little ugly.

It's a love hate relationship for me. I kinda like it (more than not). And there's a part of it that says souped up VW Beetle. Some one called it a fat frog! Haha! :)

I think the Enzo is impressive, but it isn't pretty.

A lot of supercars fall into this category for me; take off the big wheels, spoilers etc and you often have quite an unappealing shape.

The new McLaren P1 however (and the new, ergh... 'LaFerrari') both look great.

My personal fave is the new Jaguar F-Type, but that's because it looks quite a lot like the S2K : )

Haha, we agree more than the people on Flickr (you know what I'm specifically talking about). Yes, the Enzo is not pretty, but there's just something about the design that makes me love it.

Anyone else seen the latest episode of Top Gear USA and got as annoyed as I did in the first 5 minutes?!

Big piece on the Ford GT40 and all about how American it is. Except of course, that it was designed and built in England, but they didn't mention that.

Good to see this group has more knowledge in it than the American media : )

No, I didn't see it. I saw a couple videos of TG USA on YouTube a while back and hated it, so I don't bother to waste my time watching it anymore.

What I hate about UK is they don't upload full reviews anymore to their YouTube channel - only behind the scenes videos. :-(

This has happened to me too! ;) I have asked my grandma yet. This really has nothing to do with it yet, but she is extremely gullible, so I told her some cars have 5 wheels, She didn't think it existed (neither did I), but you tube came to the rescue! They had a few videos of cars with 5 wheels.

You probably already spotted that I build with normal Lego bricks and with Lego Technic. I always try to vary between normal and Lego Technic, so that I can keep you all happy. Also, I'm sometimes combining the two. <br>

I've been getting more and more interested in sports car racing. But I can't figure out what the difference is between FIA GT, GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, GTE. Also, is the Blancpain Endurance Series a special event within FIA GT3?

OK... I'm going to make a tough call...

Whilst no doubt I'll still check into MOCpages most weeks and see what's going on, I'm going to give Flickr a proper go.

Few of you will actually read this, what with the Activity Bar being broken, the main images broken, and the uploaded broken, but if you do - in order to keep this community alive I think Flickr is probably our best option.

Let's get the Group MortalS set up going, and if we end up needing a new home away from MOCpages, we'll have one with the lights and heating switched on : )

I need to update the names in Scuderia Ferrari and was wondering - what should our policy be for long inactive members who have claimed a vehicle but not posted it?

Should it be up to the discretion of the team owner?

And then... same as above but for long-dead empty claimed teams - should they be passed on to new owners?

I'd say first comment on one of their creations and ask if they are still doing something on it. If there comes no reaction, we'd best ask if someone else wants to take the team/car and otherwise just delete it?
