Hello All
Before I disappear for a bit; the 2012 MOCie Awards are here, and for the first time there WILL be a vehicle category! : )
The full list of categories hasn't been decided yet, but everything in this group will be eligible for at least one.
Creations must be built between May last year and June this year (which means every single creation built specifically for this group counts I think!).
For the full list of rules please see the MOCies Group, and get your nominations in. It'd be really nice to see a strong showing from Classic Race Teams : )

YESSS! I voted for a car category too. The thing is though, below average car builders like me don't stand a chance at all.

You're comparing yourself to people like Malte and Firas; and, like me, you're not quite as good as they are yet. But if every car you make continues to be better than the last one it won't be long!

Thanks for the encouragement! :) A lot of times (like right now), I feel really discouraged because I feel so useless. I haven't been building good cars lately. My Fiat 500 Abarth is, to be honest, coming along terribly. It's 90% finished and I'm not liking the way it looks. I think I need a break.

When I feel like that I find it helps to build(or do anything, really) that's purely for fun. After I posted the Satellite, for example, I figured nothing I could post would ever be as good as it was and I felt pretty discouraged. So I threw together some really quick, fun builds and played some mindless videogames. I've been getting back into RCing recently, nothing more fun than launching stadium trucks through the yard(IMO). =)

Yeah, that's what I do sometimes. But I can't even think of anything to build at the moment. Any ideas? Video games don't seem as fun as usual right now.

Sadly I'll miss the whole shabang, but if any 'Classic Race Teams' members get shortlisted - well done and best of luck in the final!

-Moccer of the Year; YFOL, TFOL and AFOL
