I still wish they'd have made a single-player KOTOR III... the first two were so popular, received many awards, and made great sales - there's no doubt that a new chapter in the series, with up-to-date graphics and engine etc, wpould not only please many fans, but make Lucasarts a nice lumpsome of money, too... I really can't see why they decided against it. Not everybody wants to play online multiplayer games with monthly fees and the occasional troll taking all the fun out of it :( Permalink
Yeah I do like story only playing games like the force unleashed but paying for online i don't like the sound of that
Agreed - I wouldn't mind buying The Old Republic if only there was the option for a single-player campaign, and without the need to pay every month...
Star Wars had loads of games coming out back in the xbox/PS2/gamecube era... it seems to have slowed down so much recently; besides the Force Unleashed there hasn't been much of interest lately :( Permalink
Well there havn't really been any new SW movies besides the TV series. Anything really relating to the clone wars looks cartoon like. I mean the last Clone wars game that came out was horrible in my opinion. Then again I like to play games that look really real looking ( COD, SWFU, Halo...) They don't look like cartoons but are still animated I know. You get the point right? there is a huge difference between the two. I mean its got a Mario kinda feeling to it which is cool and all. But SW should have more of that real look vs the Cartoon look. the oversized eyes really bother me on the animation. I remember SW growing up. Its way different then it is now. More for the kids now then it was before. but thats just the Lucas Legacy. Making SW fit for everyone. The game trailor was epic, but is the game play going to be the same? Most likey no, I have actually seen some Beta testing videos and Level walkthroughs with the producer, and I must say the videos for the advertisement looked a lot better. I know thats not the final product but I'm sure it was close to it. In the end its your opinion. Permalink
