Group Review: eXtreme TFOLS ( http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/15578 )
Members: 131.
Conversations: 1293.
Ratings: (5 being the best.)
Creations added in the group: 3.5/5. Usually not terrible creations (like custom clones) and some really cool creations sometimes are added.
Conversations: 4/5. Some interesting topics made, though they do have the "Never-ending Game" where they have people add to a story one sentence at a time, which I see as it's downfall, but if you like that sort of thing, whatever.
Activity: 4.5/5. A lot of activity both conversation-wise and creation-wise. Though not too many conversations to seriously clog up your e-mail.
Final notes: A good group to be in. And the MOD's are doing their job, so no making conversation threads without permission.

Creations: 3.8/5. There is a very wide range of how well the MOCs are. (The ones I've looked at) Most of them are pretty good.
Conversations: 1.5/5. Recently it seems that the group has been inactive, but I'm sure that if some good topics are added they would be quick to give their input.
Overall rating: 3/5.

Final Notes: (Quote from the homepage) " Please, don't add all your MOCs, only your good ones. Help keep the Group Creations tidy and free of low-effort MOCs.
This was the Mods idea, and a good one. :) "

Creations: 3.5/5. Some nice MOCs, ...but also some custom minifigs with ...clay.
Conversations: 3.7/5. Tough to rate because I started some of those topics. And the activity level seems somewhat low for the moment.
Overall Rating: 4/5.

Final Notes: (Quote from the rules)"All creations are allowed, not just Star Wars ones."
A good group for the Star Wars geeks to chat and "hang out." :) It just needs some active members to STAY active.

Quoting Quad ?????

I don't really see the issue with making custom figs with clay...

I would suggest making a review of the TFOLPC.

I just meant that they aren't as well as MOCs with actual Legos.
And I was planning on doing their group sometime soon.

They can be really well done BTW.

one of the reasons it is inactive is that Gree, my friend who started it, no longer is online. just a few days ago I took control of it and I am trying to get it back in step.

Caly is for people that can't work with what LEGO gives them. It's called purism when you only use LEGO. NO Mega Blocks, paint, sharpie, modding or clay. It's for the real builders.

I have been here longer then you, so I obviously know what Purism is, and I am one who fights for the non-purists.

If you want say, a Star Fox minifig, for a Star Fox Dio, you obviously can't use what LEGO gives you. You become even more creative. I'm not saying Sharpieing clones is good, just that sometimes Clay is very useful, as is modding. You have heard of Nnenen, correct?

Creations: 4.5/5. Almost all the MOCs are Above-Average.
Conversations: 6/5. The group is extremely active, which can be a very bad thing if you get an e-mail for every comment posted in a group. Pretty good topics of conversation too.
Overall Rating: 5/5, though much lower if you get an e-mail for every comment in a group.

Final Notes: Approval is required to get in. And I do not suggest this group if you have 'Comments In My Group' checked in your email options. It seriously clogs up your e-mail.

Creations: 3.5/5. Maybe every 3-4th MOC added is worth looking at.
Conversations: 3.5/5. Very active, with a few interesting convos but a lot of "Hurt & Heal" and a new thing they have "Crash & Repair" Which is pretty much the same thing.
Overall Rating: 3.5/5. A very large star wars group (I think it might even be the largest) About average group in my opinion.
