Whats your fav battleship? Mine is the USS North Carolina!!! That might be becuase it's the only one I've been to. And it also participated in every major battle of the Pacific Theater of WWII and was the most decorated battleship of the war with 15 stars.

To my knowledge, the real Amagi was to be armed with ten 16" guns. I apologize if I'm wrong, but I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess that you play NavyField. To those who don't know what it is, it's an MMO with outdated isometric graphics but the best battleship (and smaller ships) combat I've ever played. Great customized outfitting for ships too, very detailed.

My favorite BB is hands down the Iowa class. Fastest battleships ever, extremely beautiful, very powerful, and with great fire control, firepower, armor, and AA defense.

My favorite Battleship is the USS Washington. Talk about taking care of business. I also like all the "Standard type" US BBs, IE Nevada, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Colorado class vessels.

That said, the USS Constitution trumps anything that has ever touched the sea.

Richelieu

Aye, the French navy ended up all over the place after the Fall of France. I wished more vessels served with distinction...

Not quite so .... Look about the defense of Dakar in September 1940. French battleship was motionless. On Richelieu was only one Turret (in another version - even one 380-mm gun out of eight). However, it was enough to British detachment "M" (2 battleships from 16 381 mm guns, the aircraft carrier with 30 aircraft, two heavy and one light cruiser) was forced to retreat ...
Sorry for my english ))

I thought the Dakar attack was mostly repelled because of coastal artillery fire.
