To me Mars Mission was a hit and sets will be continued as one of the best lego series.Mabye no more sets will be made but the series sets should continue to be sold. Ehhhh...I still believe the lego company should make a martian base though.
Are you sure "Mars Mission was one of the best Lego series"? First familiarize (http://news.lugnet.com/space/sets), then discuss.

Hmm, for a warm up, yeah the new mars mission sets are pretty good. They aren't as well built as the OLD mission to mars sets, which DID have an alien base, but the new ones are good. Space police 3 will have to be better, and who knows? We might see a Blacktron 3, or a new Spyrius, or more Futuron!

The old LIFE ON MARS sets were beter. They had more action to them.If I am correct the aliens had some mech things that had huge weapons on them. And the human base involved the pipes also.

The mechs also could detach and become a small ship with a bipedal landing base. I had the blue one, but I loved the red one that my cousin got. You could also place the legs on the back to make an even bigger ship.
The aliens also had more than one point of articulation.
Man, I miss those...
