I am going to be making one on LDD as soon as I have finished the SHIP I'm building. any tips that might help me?

I Agree. Use a little PFs here and there. large scale.Trains going in and out with supplies. What a project that would be.

I know not everyone has a giant lego creation but LDD just doesn't have the same effect..

I know where you're coming from. as much as I would love to build one for real, I simply lack the parts and the money to buy them.

What do you think about the fact that you can buy Ldd creations. I mean if you make an awesome Ldd creation and you buy it. Would it still be awesome even though its Ldd. You wont really be able to tell, Unless you make a creation that cannot support itself when you make it. I have never had that problem.

Ive bought Ldd creations. If you want a hint, buy the parts in pick a brick on Lego.com. Hard to belive but its actually cheaper.

That's fine, what I was trying to say is that screen shots of creations on LDD don't look as good, but if you buy the parts and make it in real life it doesn't matter if it was originally LDD or not

Good point, but every time I make something that is good, it costs far too much.

Well I just finished my first DF diorama, it's not quite a factory but it's along the same lines.. I'll probably post it next weekend, so hopefully it gives you guys some juicy ideas
