Welcome one and all to the 2011 MocAthalon!

Most of you know how this works from last year. For those that don't here's a basic rundown of things things will happen.

Step 1: Sign up in the sign up thread with your name and a link to your homepage.

Step 2: On your own, form teams of 5. Each team can have NO MORE than TWO AFOLs per team. You can have less or none if you wish, but no more than TWO.

Step 3: Once your team has been formed, ONE person from your team may create a thread for your group (with a cool name if you wish). ONE person from your group will open the thread with a list of the players on your team, after that, your thread will be used for posting ONLY links to your mocs. NO CHATTING! For chatting, we have a "chat thread" so feel free to clog that up if you wish.

Step 4: Each team must create a private group for you all to plot and scheme and figure out who is going to do what. You MUST invite the judges to this group.

Step 5: Once in your group, you will have the opportunity to decide who is playing in what category. There's a strategy to this so think carefully. How the categories work and what you can play in will be discussed in the rules thread. You will NOT be getting the categories until a day or so before the start date.

Official start date for the games is March 1st and your team will have 30 days to produce as many MOCs as you can before the end of the day (MOCpages time, 11:59 PM) on March 30th.

And to all the contestants this year, I am sure you will find it comforting to know that each of the five of us who will be judging you this year actually competed in last year's games! So we all know exactly what kind of effort you are putting into this whole thing because we've all been there too.

Morning - please read the rules and edits completly! You to place a link to the MOC Athalon home page on your team's main page. You also need to list your team and team members in the "Completed Teams" thread when you have ALL 5 MEMBERS. Thank you.

sadly, i do not have the resources or time to participate. my lego collection is rather sad,and LDD is not allowed. (even though it is a lego product!) so i will remove myself from the group and bid you all happy MOCcing.
