What? How long ago was that. A year or so ago when Mister Lego called #100. Man, get over it. Even if it was just a few months ago, it's just not something to freak out over. We don't keep track of who gets what until the last minute because I'm not going to make a list of whose turn it is to make topics. You missed out because you weren't on.

When did you last go to your store? My store actually usually doesn't have a very impressive selection, I just got really lucky. I think the trans pieces and olive green slopes are pretty common in PaB walls right now.

lol, I got that topic mixed up with the Random game. I dislike the disappearance of some of the collection stats (like piece count) and the site seems to take longer to load on my iPad. I also just preferred the overall layout and text size of the old site. Maybe it will just take time to get used to, but I prefer the old site.

Good news everybody. My family joined the 21st Century. I now get like 1000 channels because we went digital. This now means I get Disney XD for Star Wars Rebels. YUS! And Teennick and Nicktoons for the better stuff than regular Nickelodeon. Unfortunately, no Boomerang for Old School Cartoons, but I get so many channels now. I was watching Drake and Josh this morning! The show is actually good for Dan Schnider, or how ever you spell his name, productions. Amanda Bynes Show, Drake and Josh and the first season of iCarly were good. The rest have all gone downhill. A MAD sketch even proves so.

Half these channels all say HD on them anyway, so really it's only a few hundred since we don't have a television HD would look cool on.

It's all about that YouTube anyway. But I know I've missed a few episodes of Adventure Time and Regular Show, and just to disappoint everyone here, I think I'm one episode behind on My Little Pony. Ever since Season 4 started and the episodes have been far superior to Season 3, I've been really excited to see episodes.

I was in a comic book store with some friends because we were just walking around the mall and I saw the Jango Fett and Boba Fett coin banks. I walked up to a Boba Fett one and the bump on his helmet was missing the silver printing to look like the paint was chipped. I said, "Ooo this one's a misprint, it's rare!" We all had a good laugh at that.

Impossible. If you were lucky enough, you'd find them at a Yard Sale from parents who have no idea how much they are worth and their kid no longer cares for them because he is grown and also doesn't know what they are worth. It also depends on what you want. The box and all the trimmings, new in box sets, just the figures, just the figures and instructions, and such. Most likely you will never get them for a good price now. Most likely you would want them new or new in the box because then you are certain pieces will be in good condition and will not break on you.

I got to go to Disney World yesterday. Went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot with my parents, for free and we were there for 14 hours. Awesome. If you do not know, I live in Orlando, and the assumption is that all us Floridians visit the parks all the time, but that costs way too much money, even with annual passes, and the joy is slowly dried out because you see everything too often in order to get your money's worth. Universal Studios is my favorite park in the area and I enjoy it everytime, but we haven't had annual passes for a long time and the one year we did recently, we went only a few times.

It was great to see all those annomatronics (Uh, words. Yeah, I don't know if that's spelled correctly.) and I had fun. Until we got to Epcot. See, my mom messed the day up starting when we left Magic Kingdom. My dad said we were going to the bathroom before leaving to get on the monorail; mom didn't. She decided to do that after we got to Epcot. Late to lunch in China, late to going to see Captain EO so we run over to Figment's tour of the Imagination Factory or whatever that thing is called. As we are leaving to catch Captain EO, again since we had just missed it and the wait for Figment was just right, we were going to make it. She decides she wants candy from the Gift Shop. We "couldn't" see Captain EO without her, so now we wait another 20 minutes just to get in there.

If you don't know, Captain EO is a fantastic 1986 3D Sci-Fi movie featuring Michael Jackson as a super hero and he gains powers through dance and song with the help of his alien buddies. It was fantastic! So then we go to other places and then when we are on our way to another show, she takes too long in a bathroom and makes us late so we wait another 20 minutes. We got to other stuff after that but I still haven't ridden Soarin' because I had already done just about everything at Epcot in previous visits. I don't know what possessed my dad to stop to get shot glass sized sodas from around the world in the Coca-Cola Cool Club and then go to the bathroom since we knew the line was going to be long for Soarin' since it was before. About 10 minutes later mom is out of the bathroom and I don't give a [CENSORED] anymore since she held us up before when we left Maelstrom in Norway before we did all this other stuff with soda and pi55ing.

90 minutes! I was going in by myself since my dad had done it before and my mom for some reason didn't want to wait although everything else was just as long, but after all this stuff that was her fault, I'm glad I went alone. But then again, I get in the line, and everyone around me speaks a different language. They even speak a different language from one another. Great. If only my dad and I had agreed to just tell her to meet us when the park closed. Oh yeah, the Park closed at 9 for some reason and I just make it out as the closing ceremonies are happening. So had it not been for mom, everything would have been perfect. I love my mom, but when at the Happiest Place on Earth, everything goes out the window.

She also kept asking me if I had gone on this ride or seen that show, and I know she wouldn't remember but I have been at these places before and I remember. And it's all in the middle of everything that she's asking me these things that I remember but not super clearly. My parents, back before I existed and stole all the moneys, their lucky I'm the only one by the way, came to these parks all of the time and they kept saying, "Oh they changed this, or that thing was different." I'm here thinking, "SHNT UP! You're not just bothering me, but all these people who have just wasted like half a year's salary just to get here! STOP!"

So yeah, it was a lot more fun than it sounded, but what do you find in the newspapers and TV. Mostly negative stuff. I got to ride a lot of things I wanted and hadn't been on.

Oh yeah, and it's Florida in January. You know what the high was? Not the normal 70 something. 58, and that was all after the coldfront came through half the day. Good wind, and I'm not complaining about the cold because a lot of people didn't show, and on a Saturday, but it must have been the cold. The only times we really had to wait were later in the day, and because of that whole bathroom thing.

Oh, and the reason we got in free is because a friend took pitty on my dad for having such a rough job teaching idoits who hate school let alone just math, which only is making it worse for them. Parked at 7 AM, got to Magic Kingdom at 8 AM, Epcot at 1PM, Left at 9PM. Best parking and since we were almost the first to our car, no clogging while trying to leave. It was fun.

And if I don't see you tomorrow, enjoy your day off because it's a National Holiday. But also think about your rights for a few minutes, no matter your race, in respect for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and all the other activists that fought for the rights of themselves and others.

The commercials have been pretty weak the last few years. I distinctly remember an M&M one with Red and his shell, a Kia one with the baby, the Doritos one with the baby, and a Dogde? one where on the 8th day, God created the farmer. There are a few others, but they weren't outstanding.

Flu is everywhere. I'm still not vaxinated but my mom is getting pretty serious about it, but I don't have it, I'm probably just reacting to all the bad pollen in the air. It's been crazy high lately, but in January? Florida is getting wacked out. It's jumping temperatures high and low and now the plants are pollenting early again? It must be the endtimes! D:

Oh yeah. Otronicon (Science and Video Games Stuff) was just in Orlando, I've seen videos of some of the exosuit type stuff, and at some point on the news, I saw a bunch of robots at a Prototype Convention of some sort with little window cleaning guys and robots that do a million things, scary stuff. We already have cars who can park them selves, tell you when you are going to crash if you don't hit the breaks, alerts for car crashes 3 cars ahead, it's insane!

I'm 5'7'' with glasses and hair that is too long. I actually have considered that if I was asked to do some Halloween thing, I'd cut my hair into a mullet for one day and be an 80's guy. I guess through a few YouTube videos, you've seen the bulk of my face, but I don't know how much I look like a Weasley.

Meh. I'm like 5'2" so we'll be ABOUT the same proportions of Harry and Ron in Fourth year. (Perfect since I'm fourteen. To Hogwarts!)

In terms of the books you'd look nothing like a Weasley, but you look acceptably similar to Rupert Grint. And you wouldn't have to cut your hair for fourth year, dude. :P http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111005051333/harrypotter/images/7/7b/Ron-and-his-owl.jpg

Again, the game was more interesting than the commercials, but there were a few.
The Wonderful Pistachios with Colbert.
The Audi one with the mutant dogs.
The Doritos Time Machine.
And the America is Beautiful Coca-Cola one with all the different languages.

Those were really the only good ones I liked enough to remember.

Out of the previews, Transformers 4 actually looked cool. Sure it will still all still be for CG but we this time we get dinos!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks even better with this preview now. "What happened to your face?"
"Oh, I was cleaning the chimney."
"We don't have a chimney."
"WHAAAT?"

The commercial, while being for Coca-Cola was sharing how diverse of a country we are and how beautiful that is.

We speak English in America, the proper thing to do would be to have it on English, but in different accents. As for the cheerios commercial, there's nothing improper about that. Nobody criticized that add, only claims of dislike from the other side.

It also doesn't help that some of the commercials are released early n YouTube in the Advertisements before videos. Some commercials make syndication after the game, but also, don't spoil it for me. I think I saw at least 5 I had already seen on TV and then also on YouTube. I think the price just to get a spot is taking all the money from making a good commercial, too. That last one said they saved 30% about 1.5 million dollars just for being the first commercial after the game was over. Imagine how much work could be put into these things to make them memorable if they weren't shelling out 4.5 million dollars just to get 30 seconds of air let alone the extra cost to make the commercial!

Fine, but a majority of people speak in English. There are many sections like Chinatown in San Fransisco, Little Vietnam in Orlando, and the like that only speak those languages. The people may be bilingual, but the other language may be their primary one. My neighborhood is primarily hispanic. While my neighbors do speak English, I know they prefer Spanish. At theme park shows, there are announcements in English, Spanish, and French. Disney Park Maps have so many languages in the back, yes for tourist reasons, but also just to help those who may have moved here.

The hispanic communities feel the same way about many people thinking they should learn English as they do about natives learning Spanish. The commercial is not as big a deal as the two of us are making it out to be; I just want to win... Like the Seahawks did! Total decimation!

Sure enough, I looked up "101 ways" and one of the suggestions was "to praise a child". :P

I also got "101 ways to get rejected".

If you are an AMC Studs member and see it in 3D, they give you a Robot fig. >:D (And if you have a mom who's not embarrassed to ask anything you get two more. >:D (one per ticket) )

Oh, and you get an Emmet in pajamas if you're a Regal Cinemas member and see it in 3D. :)

If you ever feel stup!d, know this:
A Roman emperor waged war on Poseidon. He marched his army right down the beach and commanded his soldiers to start slashing the water.
True story.

Man, the Romans took Poseidon and turned him into Neptune.

The credits were really weird though because they were in chuncks not a nice scroll.

Outside of Phantom Menace and Jurassic Park, I have never seen a movie in 3D with this technology that started with Avatar. Unless a movie has been intended for 3D I would save your money and just see movies in 2D. See if you can get deals like seeing movies before a certain time gets you half off or whatever. Movies are just too expensive to see anymore.

There was a guy who we found on craigslist who was selling some old 01-04 Bionicles for some pretty good deals. I ended up getting the Toa Mata, Toa Onewa, Onua Nuva, and Makuta. None of them came with instructions or canisters, though.

It's not a Swastika! It's some freaky looking x with dingles that spit out in both directions on each leg. The light that is reflecting off the button does not hinder that from sight. The bottom and top legs on the right are the most clear of dingles, but it can also be seen faintly on the other bottom leg on the left. And you no what? I don't care if you lost a ship!

If you watch Vsauce, you know that the Yin and Yang Symbol is earliest found on Roman Shields. Yeah, not the exact same colors but very interesting. Perhaps with the Helenized world taken by Romans, although not as far out as India like the original Macedonians, perhaps some Hindu guy ventured out on a Roman Road and saw it and was like, "Woah... It's like light and dark but balanced like the universe... I must share it with the others."

Actually, a decent drum scan of a medium or large format negative from that era could probably out resolve most modern DSLRs.

I saw the Lego Movie today :D I must say, it is probably one of my favorite animated movies. There were some really funny parts that made me laugh. I loved the part where Benny finally got to build a spaceship, the part when Wyldstyle found his pants was also pretty funny. I was also surprised when they actually showed Will Ferrel. "This is not a toy!" "But dad, we bought all this at the toy store." The ending also was hilarious. I laughed so hard xD
