Thanks guys, I think the judges went in his direction because it's the sort of humor that Afols enjoy. It's times like these that I hope I'm not still a FOL when I reach adulthood. :[
If you haven't already noticed, AFOL here that are popular aren't really good role models. AFOLs have been around for awhile, but the concept is still pretty knew to outsiders because LEGO was only ever seen as a big thing for kids not all too long ago and AFOLs were just not common. They still aren't, but the ones we have here aren't to great to be examples. When you are old enough with others looking at what you build, you may think otherwise of AFOLs. You have what it takes to be one of the good AFOLs.

That way I would be able to build bigger buildings without having to build them in rainbow. They would look a lot nicer that way. You're really lucky that you have a local LEGO store.

Nice. I am go back to doing boring work soon. I'm remodeling my shelving situation by dismantling old creations that dn't really need to be around anymore and the same goes for those old BrickMaster sets. They were cool, but I had stolen so many pieces from them that I forgot what set needed what so I just decided to kill them all. I'm not sure about my old Viking Ship. It was one of those things I really wanted and was given as a gift, but it takes up so much space for something relatively small. Long ship and a tall mast, but the rest is open space where I can't put anything. While dismantling things, I'm also sorting the pieces into their respective bins. It's so boring. Oh well, at least I have a Radio in my room so I can bang my head to the Rock Station's music. |m|

The only sets I keep together are technic sets, and I even dismantle those sometimes. Currently I'm in the process of rebuilding all four of them, but that had to come to a halt because I needed to order a replacement universal joint for 8081. Hopefully it comes sometime this week.

Oh it's not that big of a deal. I like what I like, but the show itself is not as weird as the mega fans. I just like the show and some of the fan music, mainly four people (Metal, Rock, Techno-ish, 8-Bit) and that's all. The mega fans are what makes people act the way you do. If it weren't for people like them, it would have a better perception.

good news - I was chopping tomatoes, so nobody could tell there was blood.
good news - our car got cleaned today!
bad news - it was me that had to clean it

Well, I'm allowed to, (if that's what you mean) but I have to save $200 for camp in January.
Funny thing is, all other Halos have been R16, but Halo 4 came out as M, and has been changed to R13. I think it's in relation to COD Black Ops II, which is rated R16 and is obviously a lot worse than Halo. In COD BO II you have graphic gore, F-bombs for Africa and such, but in Halo you have much milder violence, and the worst language you ever get are things like D**n and B***h.

Bricker's Imagination is good, but I can only enter one thing. Perhaps that would be better, I don't know. I guess that could also be in the running. I just think that with the number of people that don't get it because it is more of an artistic thing, it would be safe to go with something more straight forward. That's right, the closest planet to the sun.
Firstly, Mercury lies on an axis of almost 1 degree. This means it's axis is essentially zero, and at certain parts of the poles, light from the sun cannot reach there. This is where the ice exists. However the images that came back from the probe named MESSENGER(which sent back over 100,000 photos, went into operation in 2004) show something black on screen that covers this ice. It appears to be a 10-10 centimeter thick sheet of insulating material, which keeps the ice frozen. It is said to contain organic compounds; one of which being amino acids, a component ESSENTIAL to life. Also found were other frozen volatile substances.
Now the way I see it is this; It doesnt matter what it is, the question is why and how. That sheet protects that ice from the sun. It's like, grass. It needs dirt to survive and sunlight to grow. An organic material that is a thermal insulator to protective from hot conditions is suggestive of many things, and that raises many questions. I got the star wars advent calendar today. I will be trying to post a review each day of whatever comes out of it. I was fairly pleased with last years, so I hope this one lives up to or even better exceeds my expectations.

If you haven't already noticed, AFOL here that are popular aren't really good role models. AFOLs have been around for awhile, but the concept is still pretty knew to outsiders because LEGO was only ever seen as a big thing for kids not all too long ago and AFOLs were just not common. They still aren't, but the ones we have here aren't to great to be examples. When you are old enough with others looking at what you build, you may think otherwise of AFOLs. You have what it takes to be one of the good AFOLs.
