lol, it was kinda scary as on the way home, one of the stitches split slightly... :3

we covered it with a band-aid, which helped... but it WAS a bit of a fright.

I gtg now, but will give more details of what actually happened later.

ok, so at first it seemed like it might have just been a sore tummy, right. it had been going round our town for a little, so we were expecting it to be as simple as that.

I was sick for 3 days. I was vom1ting and had diorhea (however you spell it, lol). It got so bad I chucked blood.

I was taken to the doctor, who examined me. I had a severely swollen tummy, but he didn't think the appendix was the problem, as when he pushed there it didn't really hurt.

it turns out, that was becasue it had ALREADY burst, so it wasn't there. I went back the next day, feeling worse, even with the meds they gave me. So I was taken to Hospital.

But they still didn't know WHAT was wrong. They did the same as the doctor, and felt where the appendix should be, but, of course, was not there. So 3 days after being in Hospital, I went into 'Theatre' as they call it, and had a large cut in the middle of my stomach.

It is a decent size cut. It's the size of my pinky- around 7.5cm long. Usually when you have appendicitice, they give you around a 1 or 2cm cut on your side.

It turned out my appendix had already burst, so I spent 1 1/2 - 2 hours surgery to cut out the remaining part of the appendix, and cleaning out the infection it caused.

It took me a week to recover, but now I am home again, recovering well!

some more details:

I had to wear that awesome dressing gown :3

and they had these stockings you had to wear. they kept the blood circulation going. they went almost up to my knees :3

with my bloated, extended tum, I looked almost pregnant. and I looked like a foo1. :3

they had to give me a needle in the thigh each night to stop blood clots. they REALLY hurt.

there were some very funny conversations you hear. its really unpr1vate. you hear everything that goes on.

1 funny old man (probably 80) kept on making the remark, "now I'll NEVER make it to the Olympics!" hehehehe

I was in a hospital for 15+ people, and the area I was in was a surgury ward... I didn't see a single other patient under 25 :(

and I was posted mainlywith 70+ year olds... but most of them were really funny, so I enjoyed that element of it... cos you hear every word they say... which can be embarress1ng...

like one night the guy next door had to have a urinal cathata. this is a tube that drains liquids out of certain places... you guess were the urinal cathata of a guy goes... :3 and you could hear everything the doctor was saying to the poor guy... and his reactions. :3

I had to have 2 cathatas. one urinal one, and one for my stomach. I hadn't eaten any food for ages, but i had been puking, so they drained my stomach.

they put the cathata up your nose, and you have to swallow to help it down. the first time, I chucked while she was doing it. it was kind of disturbing, cos you could see all this green slime just trickling out the cathata... yep, THAT was disgust1ng!

I was on liquids for quite a few days. I lived on juice, jelly, and broths (liquid from sou :3) actually, my main food supply was a bag with liquid in it. it lasted 1 day, and cost $1000NZ!

the docs said there were 8 of them in the ward... with probably 50 patients in the ward, that was expensive!

luckily, in New Zealand, you pay taxes, so when you go to hospital, its free :)

yep, I'm glad to be home! :D

Well don't you know phantomous things can have contact with the physical world, but not the physical with the phantomous? Meaning ghosts can still have effect on physical items and beings, but nothing can affect them.

I'm definately getting better, thanks!

yes, I have a MEAN scar.

its around 3inches, or 7cm. It needed 10 stitches!

You see, had my appendix not burst, they would have known I had appendicitice, as when they pushed on the area the appendix is, it would have really hurt.

But it had already burst, so when they pushed it, it hurt no more than anywere else.

So they had to have 'major surgery' as they called it, and had to have surgery to see what was actually wrong.

I was on the table for 1 1/2 hours as they took the remains of the appendix out, removed all the burst appendix, and the rubbish it left behind.

lol, I dont know what a divisional sign is, but I'll try to get some pics up of the scar and me in hospital...
