I guess I'll get things started...
I really don't want to see the Pirates of the Caribbean theme die, because there are so many ships, islands, etc, that they could add on. Example:

Set: Singapore
Minifigs: Sao Feng, Barbossa, Elizabeth (Chinese disguise), EITC soldier, Chinese pirate, Mr. Mercer, Will Turner (outfit from 3rd movie)
Play Features: Two-level bathhouse with underground sewer, collapsing bridge, fireworks shack, and small rowboat
Estimated price: $100-120

I think it would be cool if the made some type of LEGO animals, and there could be a whole bunch of new pieces.

It would also be pretty cool if the added some time of samurai's in LEGO NinjaGo.

What about the Monster Fighters line this summer? That has zombies in addition to other monsters.

And Dino Attack was sorta post-apoc.

When it was first said that they were discontinuing the line, I thought a lot to myself even though all I was ever interested in was the story.
What if LEGO had decided to rather just end the story, and renew it. Go back to 2001 and rengineer every set, make new ones and follow the story in other places like Artahka, Taknuva's journey before Karda Nui, what about a completely new story where a new hidden evil came out of the shodows and was a clone or split spirit of Taridax? It would have been great because kids that only knew about the Phantoka or Mistika never even really knew about the beginnings of the Toa Nuva and were unfamiliar wiht the Turaga and the adventures in Metru Nui and what it was like for the people to return to the giant city.
That would be very interesting to me, at least.

I think it would be interesting to renew Bionicle, but make the island in several different sets in minifig scale, like a minifig version of Metru-Nui's discricts, and so on.

Asterix and Obelix lego series. There could be one large set with a roman camp and then battlepacks with two romans and two gauls and then have four or five other sets where there's an house with some of the characters or a mini expansion for the roman camp.

I don't know if anyone else has thought of it before, but how sweet would it be if they made Star Wars Battlefront battle packs of each faction. Because of licensing deals, they would have to include a ship or something, maybe a small speeder like all the rest of the battle packs, but I would definitely buy it for the figures :D

I'd love to see a nonviolent Space theme. Although I was born about a decade too late, I've always been a fan of those old Futuron sets; it would be sweet if Lego did something like that again! Just think about what they could do with all of the new pieces that have come out since then! I think it would be awesome to buy futuristic cities, cars, and the like... But alas, the Halo Kiddies would tire of it quickly, and then the theme would go under; so much for that... :P

I must say that I would like bionicle reengineered. Also, going into the "unexplored" storylines and making sets for them would be GREAT! I've always wondered what exactly happened to Takanuva, and what evils lay in that land... Minifig scale would be interesting, but I don't think it would catch on. The reason they originally did that in the first place was only because it worked well with knights kingdom.

I was thinking maybe Lego could come out with a "Hotel" line for city or something. There could be a set for a room and a pool and a workout room, and the main set would be the lobby, which would have the front desk, parking space and entrance out front, and a sitting area. All of the rooms could stack up on top of each other so you could make the hotel. The lobby could also come with an equal size roof for the top, so you could take it off when you add more levels, then put it back on. Some more sets for it could be a small elevator set, that you add to the side for each level, and a small hallway set for the middle of each level. This would a great edition to any Lego city.

Another great series of sets could be work places. You could have restaurants, like fast food, fancy, and small shops like coffee shops. Then there could be everyday jobs like gasoline stations, convenience stores, and movie theaters. There could also be big work places such as office buildings and such. And the main set could be a town center or a shopping mall. And the best part would be that business's could sign contracts with the Lego Company to have there business star in a set, such as McDonald's having a set or 7eleven having a set. That would make a lot of money and really help build up a good city.

Quoting Halhi 141
Finally someone who understands!
I understand that people like star wars, but I wish that they'd at least not release so many sets per year. Especially when they've made multiple of the same set, it shows that the theme has been going on for too long...
Not to mention that customizers thrive around star wars...

Yeah. I love the Star Wars stuff, but the only stuff I'm interested in are the cheaper ones that are not remakes. I've been collecting a lot of the sets over the years but I am low on space and funds so I really am picking and choosing more than ever. They are starting to do more EU stuf which I am not into so I will get a bit of a break but the stuff from the movies, they can do more, but the stuff that would sell are the most iconic things so now all I ever get much of anymore are Clone Wars sets.

They should come with new figures or a new style of building, or something like that

They need to make another cloud city for a poor TFOL who didn't think to get it when he was four. :|

I got the set for Christmas in 2003! There is no way to top that set unless with an UCS Imperial Star Destroyer.

Awesome! That is probably one of THE top sets EVER! For one thing it was large and detailed, another for great minifigs and accessories, and another awesome building and room to do stories!

It's quite good, but definately not one of the best sets ever.

Um... I want that one, but you are thinking of the Super Star Destroyer. When I finally get it, I'll be glad to share with you what I think. I'm talking about 10030.

I think a car series would be pretty cool. They could do popular cars from various manufacturers.

A Constraction theme where LEGO ditches the simple-builds and focuses solely on titan/complex builds.

It's not going to happen for a looooong time. You know why? Rebels and Episodes VII, VIII, and IX, are going to be taking up all the designers' free time to consider redesigning Cloud City.

M eurobricks senses are tingling... Over there they're thinking a new Cloud City for 2 reasons: A minifig poster for 2014 had a background of Cloud City, and several Rebels episodes have been confirmed to take place in Cloud City. :)

Yes, but Star Wars VII doesn't come out for a year yet, (and besides, the people who own the movie give the designers a lists of scenes they'd like to be sets) and if Rebels has a marketing scheme like CW, then we'll only get a wave a little under once a year, MAYyybe twice, and the first wave is already designed and waiting for the shelves. THERE BE PLENTY O' TIME! :D
