Welcome everyone to the Dream LEGO Theme/Set discussion. This convo was started, with permission from Seth, as a place to discuss your ideas of new sets or themes. This does not necessarily mean any of these of will come true, but it's always fun to use your imagination ;)
You may either share your own new ideas, or expand on those of others. Permalink | February 17, 2012, 8:37 pm |

I guess I'll get things started...
I really don't want to see the Pirates of the Caribbean theme die, because there are so many ships, islands, etc, that they could add on. Example:
Set: Singapore
Minifigs: Sao Feng, Barbossa, Elizabeth (Chinese disguise), EITC soldier, Chinese pirate, Mr. Mercer, Will Turner (outfit from 3rd movie)
Play Features: Two-level bathhouse with underground sewer, collapsing bridge, fireworks shack, and small rowboat
Estimated price: $100-120

I think it would be cool if the made some type of LEGO animals, and there could be a whole bunch of new pieces.
It would also be pretty cool if the added some time of samurai's in LEGO NinjaGo. Permalink | February 17, 2012, 9:00 pm |

They should remake Bionicle. Cause those Marvel/DC sets with the super heroes and $tupid-looking villains stink. Permalink | February 17, 2012, 9:08 pm |

Or at least get rid of the Hero sets. What a waste of plastic, in my opinion. Permalink | February 18, 2012, 12:52 am |

What about the Monster Fighters line this summer? That has zombies in addition to other monsters.
And Dino Attack was sorta post-apoc. Permalink | February 18, 2012, 7:08 pm |

When it was first said that they were discontinuing the line, I thought a lot to myself even though all I was ever interested in was the story.
What if LEGO had decided to rather just end the story, and renew it. Go back to 2001 and rengineer every set, make new ones and follow the story in other places like Artahka, Taknuva's journey before Karda Nui, what about a completely new story where a new hidden evil came out of the shodows and was a clone or split spirit of Taridax? It would have been great because kids that only knew about the Phantoka or Mistika never even really knew about the beginnings of the Toa Nuva and were unfamiliar wiht the Turaga and the adventures in Metru Nui and what it was like for the people to return to the giant city.
That would be very interesting to me, at least. Permalink | February 18, 2012, 7:35 pm |

Although I am sure that you weren't trying to, your entire post had me laughing out loud. As a non-bionicle fan, I didn't understand any of it. Not that I am asking for an explanation of the differences between a Mistiki and a Turaga, but I wanted to let you know that this comment made my day! Permalink | February 18, 2012, 10:38 pm |

I'll take it. Thanks for not replying with all that stuff I typed. You seem to understand how that works. Check out this thing I wrote once that people replied to without doing what you did: http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=16222&topicid=70419 Permalink | February 18, 2012, 10:52 pm |
