TFOL's- We're all really super heroes in reality

I know I'm not supposed to make new topics, but non of the MODs or ADMINS are on. Delete or lock it if you feel necessary.

Anyhow. Have you ever noticed we're all super heroes? We all have like hidden identities if you think about it. Like really, I try to act like the normal fun guy who is sarcastic. But in reality, I have a gigantic LEGO table in my room that engrosses the majority of my time =) I try to hide it, and I usually hang out at other people's houses. I'm just wondering, what's YOUR secret identity?

Hmmmm. Interesting idea. I agree, but only a little. We hide our real selves, but we don't have powers or anything. We don't save people.

I am really exactly what I seem.

You really don't need to make new topics for stuff like this. Just put it in the convo thread. I can't lock topics as a mod, so I'll leave this to the admins.

This does seem like an okay thread. But next time just please ask in the Convo thread.

I do kind of agree with you because I don't really mention my hobby of Lego building to most people.

To make this topic a little more worth while, if you were a Super Hero, and could have a special LEGO power, what would it be? And if you feel obligated to do so, explain why.

I would want the power to find any lego piece in my bins right away. Like have thermal imaging for the piece I need :D

I already have that power. :3
No, of course not. But it's sorta weird, if I'm looking for the double of a piece, it seems easier to find it if I have another one in my hand.
Go figure.

I'm proud of being a TFOL, my friends know. Also, I'm a sarcastic @55h0l3 IRL. :P
I just find it sad how my friends don't know anything about memes -.-

My collection is no secret, but I hide that I use it that much. All of my friends USED to be into LEGO's but "out grew" them.

I however feel different about you making topics just like this, I mean if none of the staff is on is it really that hard to wait? Just ask the question and wait for a reply by the staff. I have been really leanient lately and have let you create topics without permission, and I feel I should be more strict with this kind of stuff. But if you really can't wait then just talk about this in our general conversations.

Hardly any of my friends know about my collection, it stays hidden in my attic all year round.

Hey man, I tried to make it appropriate with my thing. Since none of the mods are able to lock topics anymore, I can't do anything. It's up to you, the nice guy, or MR. LEGO, the no-show, to lock stuff. All the mods can do is say please and when that doesn't work, it's over. You think Long Discussions was a good idea? We'd said all we wanted to say and then the topic was made. Okay, so enough stalling, if it wasn't asked for, just lock it, no matter what.

But then you would be implying a totalitarian government style, and everyone would start rebellions against the eXtreme TFOLs once they've had enough of these random topic locks.

It doesn't work that way, you cant just lock topics for no reason...Especially if tons of people enjoy the topic at hand.

No, not the staff.

I was talking about the rules and how punishments are dished out. The same problem happened in the TFOL Private Club... A bunch of people kept making topics without permission. They eventually adopted the three strikes rule, but was quickly dropped after others retaliated against it. So what did they do? Well, they came to me and another MOCer named "Sub Culture" after we spoke out against the three strikes punishment. They asked us what we would like to see in the rules, so we wrote an entirely new set of rules and punishments.

What were they?
The rules and punishments?
Participially the Punishments...

...Sure is a shame about what happened to the TFOL Private club.

That's the problem though, we don't have rules that are hard to follow and we only removed one person that was annoying everyone, especially you. We don't have any punishments. We just have locks for topics. That's how it should be. We want to make this group as fun as possible with some minor restrictions so as to keep the peace. Since I've never been involved with the TFOLPC, I don't know how things were run and how they are run, but are people just maing topics willy nilly? (Yes, I did just say that) That's how we get carp like "Does anyone play basketball?" or "Who plays XLT 2013 Major Leage Hookey Soccer?" or "im a kid" and some other dum b topics.

Sad thing is just about everyone in my class knows that I play with lego, in fact they go so far as to call it an addiction. The one thing that I hide from my friends is that I self teach myself, I've started teaching myself the basics of many different topics. Unfortunately because of this I know many random facts, so I frequently get labeled as a nerd.
