I'm back!!

Hello best AEGAKS engineers,

Some of you might remind me as Chris Kruining. first of all i would like to tell you all the reason why I left. basically: way to much negative commentary in my personal life. now, two years later, I have socially improved a lot(I have autism, and social stuff is in fact a weak point of me) to a point that I don't care what people say of me anymore. that means that I can now do what I want to do without getting depressed with the commentary. so, I'm back!!

I had an nostalgic time lately, so that include the desire to put my imagination into lego builds. I also out of curiosity visited mocpages, and the AEGAKS in particular. I kind of was disappointed to see that it all has died out a bit, so I would like to bring back life into the AEGAKS Evolution story.

for this I had the following idea: we all brainstorm for a story line, on every Sunday (because I have the most time that day) I will write it all into a chapter. doing this we should have around 40 chapters at the end of the year (just 40 chapters?, you think. yes, this will take a while to get set up and to get people motivated). in the story line there will be AEGAKS models described, those AEGAKS models are build by you! what do you do? well, you build a AEGAKS. give it an description that I could use. last you add your AEGAKS to the group models of the group: Project AEGAKS: evolution.

I really hop people will read this, and i also hope you will excuse me for my terrible English.

Like I said: I'm back, with new inspiration, motivation, skill, intentions and a bit larger legos arsenal.

yours,
Chris Kruining AKA Crazychris0905.

Nice to see someone out there is still interested in this story. I can't speak for the others but my own personal life has become filled with other commitments so time to build let alone maintain a group has become highly limited at best. My personal advice would be to contact R.G. directly and ask him if he is interested in continuing this project or not. Who knows, he might have something even better in the works tht he needs assistance with. Even if the answer is no, I have no doubt that we would support and still comment on any new designs you create.

thanks Mike, I appreciate the nice words.
I also have a kind of bold request: seeing this is the group that I started, would you mind putting me back in charge. also to assist the maintenance of the group. it could you some pimping I believe.

All right, "Admin" status restored. Maybe this can help kick start the group again with new ideas.

hey mike,
I guess it's no help, do you have any ideas to get people back?!

Well I won't be joining you guys for a period of time. I can't upload any MOC...the uploader keeps on crashing, I've been trying it for weeks but I just can't.

Well you can try and contact each person in the group and see if they're still interested. Your other option would be to just take the lead and build any mechs and story to along with it then see who is interested in joining.

My best advice would be contact MOCpages help and let them know. Myself, I can finally upload but it takes a long time and often pics from the ones I choose don't make it without multiple attempts.

I for one, am not done with this theme. I've just been very busy. But I've still got some tricks up my sleeves.

I've sort of being trying to develop some of my own concepts and just generally improve my mocing techniques before I came back to have another go at AEGAKS.

Ultimately I'd like to incorporate some of the ideas from Big Red and Big Blue into a new AEGAKS frame.

Will add to the group once I have something worth sharing.
