yeah, you could kinda tell from how he typed. so, suggested course of action?
My idea: leave him alone. Let other people help him along in his campaign, but for now, I don't want him in this group. By the way he posts comments, all the convos would be filled up with junk, and there would be a ton of junk convos as well. So yeah, I've denied his access to this group.

Yeah, Leave him alone untill he builds someting that impresses at least two of us, then place the situation under further analysis to see if he has what it takes to be an Elite Mechanier.

I'm just now realizing, I don't think that Bill is actually a kid. He's a spammer. Though he could be both. In any case, he appears to be deleting my comments on his MOCs, deleting LTE's comments, and probably deleting other comments. Also, the simple fact that he is disregarding help that Andrew (of the HFR) is giving him, and totally ignoring us when we ask him to tone it down, makes me suspicious if he do indeed have a spammer/troll. If this is the case, it's a minor infestation, and I would urge you to stay out of contact with him. Don't give him advice, praise his MOCs, or anything like that. It will only give him attention that will feed his spamming side.

Thats quite a possibility. Thats why i said i would keep a "Silent, Invisible eye" on him... Super Ultra Mega Whatevers or no, I hate spammers. On a less relevant note; he seems like a more mature [for want of a better adjective] version of Bug's Fossils.

I know, I put a simple link on one of his creations on how to make a popular MOC and he deleted it.

hiya Chunk! haven't seen you for a while! can't wait to see the Crusader.

meanwhile I've undertaken the project of completing about eleven MBS-size Mechs and, despite school and helping with a Christmas program at my church, finish them all by Christmas! I got about half way through my first this afternoon.

Its more a borderline Heavy/Superhaevy Its more focused on agility and versatility than blasting the living bejeezers out of everything in a ten mile radius. But yeah, its pretty big. Jeez, you have to be careful about how you say things thes days; i was going to say something other than "Living Bejeezers" but then i remembered that there is now a rule against cussing... Oh well, i guess that gives us more chances to be creative ;P

Haha, yeah, I guess it is.
I'm also working on another SuperHeavy mech, the SHM-1 Cannon, though so far it's not going so well. But just to give you a size comparison, it's legs are as tall as the Titan II. And don't even get me STARTED on it's primary laser cannons.

Heh, proabably not. Anywho, Gundams ARE tecnically "Big stuff" SO big in fact, it would be pretty tough to build one in minifig-scale in LDD. I wonder what kind of Chicken-Walker CCY 8066 would come up with.

hmm, that would be pretty interesting. *tries to imagine an AT-ST with horns, a skirt, and high-heels, but fails utterly*

and are Gundams really that big? wow. are Gundam units mass-produced? I mean, it must cost a fortune to build one of those things. of course, if the Empire managed to scrape up 500 quadrillion credits to build their fleet of mile-long capital ships, I suppose the idea of building a couple hundred Gundams is plausible.

that would make sense, but the little black circle pieces (which would probably be, in the case of thrusters, the exhaust nozzles) are facing forward. but that's definitely possible. the only things I can really figure are 1. leg-mounted missile launchers, 2. extra armor plating, or 3. some kind of odd decoration. well, I guess I'll just ask Chunk when he's on next.

I can think of a few reason why thrusters would face foward. For one, its the most efficient position for manuvering thrusters used at high speeds.

Well now, we've certainly got some conversation going in here, now haven't we. I'm not against conversation, but arik, I saw a quadruple post in there, don't push it. ;)

As for big projects, since everyone is seemingly working on them, if I somehow manage to tear myself away from Minecraft, I'll probably get around to posting the remainder of the UGM-7 models. After that, I don't really know. I might work on a new mini-mech frame, or revisit the CBMC Classic line, or start a whole new line together. Depends on if I get the inspiration for it or not. For now, I'm content with hitting wood and eating porkchops. XD

EDIT: Just realized that I posted this around midnight where I'm at. I hope you guys don't think that I'm some sort of insomniac...

I think he means how I made four different posts in a row. it's a bad habit I got from the LMBs and he keeps bugging me about it. :P
Yeah, it means posting four times in a row, and I think this is the first time I've bugged you about it... :/

no, there was that one time I multi-posted at... oh, I don't exactly remember where. was it Chunk's Demigog? anyway, yeah.

Are we tlaking four posts in a row on thesame subject, or four completely uninterrupted posts, or what; I STILL dont understand rule #5.

both, I think. I'm pretty sure Bio just wants us to try and keep it at one or two posts so it doesn't crowd up the thread. :)

That rule can get REALLY annoying though. SOmetimes there are just so many comments I want to reply to, and I have to stop myself until someone else posts a comment. But overall, it is a good rule.

If there really were enough comments to respond to, all you would have to do to keep within the rule is pull of another tab to MOCpages, go to one of the messages, click the reply button, and then copy and paste the text into the full message, like so.

always remember that you can go back in and edit a comment later. So if yours was the last comment in the conversation/subject, just edit rather than add another.

I finally got around to renovating my homepage, and I'm fairly satisfied. Let me know if there's anything I should change, add, or if I made any spelling/grammatical errors, as I've been known to make them from time to time. Also, I'll probably be adding a bit more background and organizing it in the future, but for now, I think this will suffice. :)

I'm glad I have what it takes to be among you guys (: I've made myself a sig fig from one of my more popular Mech chassis, so if you want go ahead and check it out. Also, I'm trying to think up of a new chassis to add onto the drawing board that i can go off of. As you guys can probably tell, I like the reversed legged design (how a bird walks). I just have an addiction to this style of Mech. If you have any ideas or anything just let me know (: Thanks!

I've seen a few before, but yours take the cake for originality. Also, if you're looking for a chassis to experiment with, most of us (myself, Jak, ED, arik, LTE) have some decent frames, some autonomous, some piloted. yeah, reverse-joint (or reverse legged, whatever you want to call it. :P) legs are awesome. easily my favorite type of Mech. if you want an interesting design to work with, check out my Taurus II walkers. probably the most bizarre design I've ever seen, and you might have some fun with it. just remember to give Chunkblaster (who came up with the Taurus design) credit if you use it. :)

Thanks Andrew! I really appreciate the feedback, I think Im going to make a few more "Drone" Animal chassis and post them. They are actually quite fun! I was having a hard time with the Prowler and trying to fit a pilot into it, so I just made it a unmanned mech, sort of like a pet to help out other mechs. But thanks for adding me to the family (: Ill be sure to try different chassis in the future and post some new models. Thanks!

Okay Jak, since my comment on your ARU didn't get through before, I'll just post it here. I almost would have preferred that you waited on posting this until I was done with the UGM-7 line, but I suppose it's okay anyways. This is a nice model, for the most part, but honestly, and no offense, but the LXF shows its faults. Many of the joints don't extend as far as would be ideal, there are a few red bricks that didn't get recolored, and a few bricks on the head are at odd angles that restrict movement. Try polishing it up a bit, and I'm sure it'll be much better.

There is one key reason behind why it is so very rough in places: drill, hammer, drill, drill, hammer, drill, hammer, hammer . . . You get the idea. Our bathroom was being done at the time, and concentration was at an all time low. XD

Probably the LT colour scheme from WW. Black or dark bley with dark red. Then with decals of a 'rising sun' (ie; a spectrum going from yellow at the bottom, through orange, red and dark red to black at the top). If you need ideas then I think a MBS based of the Shuriken (minus leg guns) would be cool.

just so Bio doesn't wring my neck... :P

ED: alright, I'll try that. and, um, what exactly is light bley? a mix of blue and grey?

It's 1337 speak for the new LEGO greys. Originally they were 'warm' greys (yellowy) now they are 'cool' greys (bluish). LDD only has bley shades as far as I know.
EDIT: Actually LDD Extended has the old greys in the legacy section. The offical terms for the bley shades is 'stone greys'.
