Indeed, though it wasn't as bad as some other chats I've seen around.

Anyways, I probably won't be uploading the new UGMs today, but probably sometime during the next week. I'm a bit preoccupied with other things. So, sorry about that.

Hey guys! Just a little heads up. I'll be presenting 6 new MOCs in the next days(I'v been a little busy these past days)(I don't want to put them up all together at once, mainly because of "fine tuning") 3 of these will be totally new designs (the upgraded SIN gundam is one of them!) and I also built 3 classical Zeon mobile suits from the UC era. Try guessing wich 3 :D So you might wanna check these out in the near future! Thanks.

Certainly, its 178.33.84.113 . I should tell you that the map will be changing in a week or so, with a new spawn made by yours truely =D we're currently a factions server but we're switching to primarily using towny. each of the 4 main admins will have a town, mine will be called Irongate and will be a large fortress style city.

hi guys. not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but I need help with something. I've been having trouble getting wings for my Mechs. after a lot of work I finally got something kinda bird-like and feathery, but I also need a good-sized wing design that's kinda bat/dragon-like. can you guys help me?

Look around the Pages, you should find something good.

A technique I find works well is to use one thick bricks, about 3 long, stacked and topped with a slope brick. Now, over lap them by one stud each and then fan them out (hinge pieces are useful here).

Well folks, I have heard the Bio was planning and LDD competetion, yes? Well ,why don't we think a bit bigger?

Presenting the LDDOlympics. It runs on the same sort of system as the MocOlympics. To start with, a maximum of 60 people will be accepted for the first round. The first round build subject(s) would be very general (e.g. Nature, City etc.). The judges would be one or two of us, and then some other briliant designers with LDD (Hump-Free as an example). The judges would be split into two groups so as to easily work through the first round - an even number must be left. The competitors for round two would be paired off, and then the competitors for round three again paired off. This would continue till only two competitors are left. The winner of that build off would be the overall winner of the LDDOlympics!

Just and idea.

That's a good idea Jak, but in my experience, I've found that starting small is generally best. We can continue stretching the limits of the whole "LDD Contest" concept until we reach something similar to what you've proposed. As of now, starting with an LDDOlympics wouldn't be practical.

I have an idea. Why don't we have a tournament style like Jak said, but still keep it small? So round one could be 'UGM-7 Remix'. Then half continue and half are removed. Now we have another round, say 'Finish the Collaborative Hovertank'. Continue until we have one left.

Wait until he builds some/a mech(s). Then go with Rabid's vote idea.If he just wants to join a group where he can post his mech when he's done he can just go to 'Mecha', 'Mecha Engineerings', '-House of Mech-', etc.

Hey, PPL! Its time for the joke of the day! There were two kinghts-in-shining-armor and the first knight said to the other, "I'll rescue the Damsel in Distress, You rescue the Damsel in Dat-Dress." Get it? ;P
-_-

Richie, I now pronounce you this group's official lame-pun-coon.

I decided to check the current status of war world again today, and I noticed that twig and joey might possibly be going at it. Though this wouldnt concern any of us at all normally, ED seams to have somehow put us in the mix again, possibly on the side of joey XD. I'm not saying im iritated by this by any means, infact i find it highly entertaining, and if we do "take part" so to speek, joey is definatley the one I'd pick anyway. Perhaps you men would like to follow the events yourselves.

Oh, and I think he'll side with Twig anyways.

I felt like making some trouble for Twig after him attempting to copy the TCS ages ago.

Unfortunately, Joey hasn't gone for it. He didn't even need eleventy million WW dollars from Twig to calm him down. :)

so, have the members of WW ever done something BESIDES argue about every silly little thing that comes up? it's no wonder that WW has been doing so badly. and they don't have Force Factor to go to, either. XD

While i have neither the time, nor the skill to do so myself, i think we should reestablish ourselves in War World for the time being. Why? Because. Twig has just given us an opertunity to tighten our grip on the mech market. he has offered to sell us the blueprints for a new hardsuit for 1500WW$. This hardsuit has similarities to current colaborative designs, and i believe it has real potential. Now, if you don't want to go through that much trouble for a new hardsuit, i could simply steal the blueprint and/or conn twig into an entire military representation contract. The latter might take a while...

Big point there: they are WarWorld dollars. Not real currency. To us, they are essentially useless. I suggest that we maybe take part here and there, but in general just let them dig themselves in deeper. Besides, we can build much better stuff than them, why do you want blueprints?

I say, let the twelve year-olds be twelve year-olds and let the big boys be big boys. In layman's terms, leave them alone, unless you want to get them mad or riled up, but don't go into negotiations with them. All you'll get it "OMG CBMC is r bak soot tem soot them!" (Not really, but you're going to get a reaction either way. XD

what Mech market are you referring to? almost all the real Mech designers from the DbM gallery have left, and the LU Creation Lab barely had any to begin with. the only real Mech designers are all on MOCpages.

I, for one, still like to think of our little enterprises as Companies, Businesses, Corporations, Etc. Any such enterprise or industry must have customers. In the case of an imaginary business, there are imaginary customers. Those customers are our market.

well, since our market is imaginary, we'll just imagine that we have plenty of imaginary customers, that they're all willing to pay huge sums of money to buy our stuff, and that they always prefer our services over those of competing corporations (don't worry, those competing corporations can do the same thing, so it's fair). :P

hey Bio, you do realize most of them are just as old as us? I guess Chunk and Rabid give us an advantage (since they're AFOLs), but otherwise we aren't much more of "big boys" than they are. :P well, their spelling stinks compared to ours, but otherwise they are.

Well, we would be making more money that way, but i like to take my imaginings seriously; real people dont spend like that.

Try not to take things too seriously, even your imaginings. If they were supposed to be serious, then what you imagined would actually exist. And you wouldn't be using plastic BRICKS to build them. That's why it's called imagining. That having been said, there's no harm to a somewhat realistic view to things, yes?

Besides on the subject of the mecha markets, individuals would rarely be able to afford mecha themselves. You would be selling mostly to governments and privately funded organizations, not to mention arming your own security forces.

Yeah, Twig's actually older than most of us TFOLs (He's 16). But you wouldn't know it from how he acts sometimes. And when we were actually in WW properly Chunk was still a TFOL.
I assume Andrew was refering to mental age, not physical.

yeah, it is kinda fun to imagine yourself as a real company, if for no other reason than that imaginary customers give you a reason to further improve your work. otherwise you'd never get better, but would stay at the same skill level forever.

Yeah saw that last year. It'd cost even more though, because you would need a development team to come up with the design. Because it's one thing to have the parts, but if you don't know what to do with them, it's kinda pointless. Nope, I think we're not going to be seeing mobile suits any time soon given those numbers.

I dunno. NASA probably pays twice that for most of their rocketships, so they or another government agency could probably manage it. and making something like that seems much more useful than searching the universe for the possible existence of space aliens. :P the eBay ad at the end was kinda funny, too. :P
