Hello all
Here you can post about upcoming projects you have related to the Co-operative.

Do you think I should make a group called: 'CBMC/XT Exhibition Warehouse'? That one could be public so we could share all our stuff. Plus we could hold contests.

No, I don't think that's necessary. Now, If we get a ton of people coming here (chunk, Jak, BM1, fortenoir, etc.) then we might want to. But a public group means anyone can join without invitation, not that anyone can view it. Anyone can view this group, but must be granted access by one of us.

Simple. There is a username on youtube called chunkblaster. If it's him, I'll get an email in the next few days responding (comments are sent directly to the user on youtube). If he's not, I'll get a really angry or confused guy. No prob.

If that doesn't work, I've noticed a glitch in the LDD interface that will prove useful. I downloaded a creation of chunk's a while back and noticed the name on the top bar came up as Demo 2. The factory name was Iodian Sector. We simply save the name of a creation as "MOCpages we are here", but name it on the gallery as "Please open chunk and jak". The mods won't even know what happened.

Get back to me soon, I'm afraid we might already be too late!

In case you haven't noticed, chunkblaster hasn't posted a thing for the last month on the gallery or forums. I'm wondering if he might have quit without telling us.

I've just put up a model on the DbM gallery with a small test of my above method. If it is let through, please follow the instructions in the description. If it's not let through, we'll know the mods know about that method. I'm hoping they don't.

I have noticed that. I hope he's just working on his Minecraft game like he said and he'll be back soon. He also said something about not enough support for AFOLs. It hasn't gotten through yet, but I'll be waiting.

I hope so too. Unfortunately, my creation didn't go through. I"m going to try something a bit more subtle this time. If it doesn't work, plan B will be dropping as many MOCpages hints as we can on the forums. Maybe starting up a topic even. I hope they get the hint, the place looks pretty dead as of recently.

Just a side note, the chunkblaster from youtube hasn't responded yet. I'm beginning to think it's not him.

BTW, my youtube username is TheClaymationator. Do you have a username or channel?

No, I don't have a Youtube account.
I noticed that the Message Boards were slowly getting less and less active. I'd say it's because Chunk has seemingly gone, WW has gotten really slow and everyone else has just stopped being as active. I still go on as much as I used to but there's nothing to talk about.

Hey, Andrew.
I downloaded your To ED model but the creation name was a long string of characters with no meaning. It's annoying that this doesn't work. :(

Chunk has come out with the TAM-X frame and three mechs, they look okay from the picture, but it's hard to tell.

And finally, if I can get my brother's camera to work then I will upload a heavier version of the WalkerPak, a missile launch truck and possibly pictures of my LEGO town/base I have on my desk.

CYA, David.

It is annoying. However, it could be because you only have LDD3.

I saw the TAM-X, and man, they're awesome, but they seem a bit more like dance robots to me! I built one with real legos today, but it just didn't look right with a gun.

Can't wait to see them!

One more thing. You might have gotten an email saying that chunkblaster added you as a favorite builder here. If this is really him, we just completed a HUGE part of this MOCpages operation!

Yeah..... I'm not real good at the picking up on things. But I did finally pick up on it and im here now. And you and bio's plan to use creation names does work somewhat. download Bio's "to ed" creation and open it, then go to the LDD home page where it displays your 6 most recent models and look at the model name there. Problem is, I doubt many people will pick up on this.

Hey chunk! You don't have to feel bad about calling me Andrew. I prefer it actually. Do you mind if Richie2571 comes over here. I need to set him straight about something that I'm positive wouldn't be let through the LBM admins.

I'd like to know your real name, if only your first, but if you'd rather not, that's fine with me. I've already figured out ED's (David), but I'm curious as to yours. BTW, are you the chunkblaster on youtube?

Ok Andrew, my name's Conner. But trust me, if you saw me and yelled "hay chunk!" I'd immediately respond. I'm chunk on almost everything online, so if you see a chunkblaster, 99.999% chance its me. And yeah thats me on youtube, but I have some weird virus that prevents me from using google youtube or facebook. I'd probably respond if someone yelled "hay bio!" too. That actually happened once, but it was some idiot I didn't know. I think it's best I didn't give you my email, I got in trouble with that before. If you remember shortr99, he and I emailed a bit before my parents found out. Right after that was when he deleted his MOCpages account.

I'd thi8rd that, I'd respond to 'Hey, ED!' Though is slightly more common than Chunk or Bio as a name. But hey if you two are stopping by Melbourne, Australia any time soon.
Andrew, I an email that wanted me to approve the above post, I think because you said 'idiot', these guys are almost as tight as LEGO.com.

Gentlemen there is a mecha competition going on at this adress http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/7299 and I believe we should submit a CBMC design to this competition to get ourselves out there more. I would like to know what mech you guys think I should submit. It's strictly mecha so its probably going to be limmited to the MBS's. Just tell me what you guys think.

Meh, things happen. Still haven't quite decided to make yet, but I do have a large foot for a mech a made. Not quite sure where it's gonna go though. Also, it seems to me that all us oldies on the DbM front have been replaced by tons of newbies. Seems like BM1 and fortnior are the last survivors. :p. Now we just need to get them over here . . .

Uh, chunk... the Mecha Contest has been dead for eons. I was a part of it when I first joined MOCpages, and it had 200 conversations then. It has 200 conversations now. I vote we look for newer and better contests to join. As for the model we upload, I think we should upload the new Crusader. I went back and looked at the old one, and I love it!

Well that Figures. And yes the crusader was a favorite of mine as well. I wanted to continue the H-MBS Project, but they were just too complex. Too many parts and not enough room. But I assure you the new crusader will be awesome. So-
New Mission! Everyone keep your eyes open for a good up-to-date mech/mecha competition to enter our designs into!

Update on what's been goin' down in the LT deign labs:

-The Shuriken Assassin Mech
A CBMC Classic mech just released. Features the new Complete Stealth Package, Chunk's MBS-Classic crossover arm: the Goliath, and an accessible power core.

-Hovertank Co-op Project
I have not done any more building on this since I posted the concepts, but I've though about it when I should be listen to the teacher in class :P and I have a good idea how I'm going to do it, construction starts this week.

-The Next LT Minimech Series
I've decided on the name and outline of the LTM series. The Legopolis Tech Moonshadow series will consist of the LTM-Daemon, LTM-Orc, LTM-Imp, LTM-Goblin, LTM-Hellhound and the LTM-Eachuin.

-The Next Big LT Mech
There will be a modified Shuriken out eventually. It will be for a new theme I will be explaining in the near future.

I've found a way around that issue. It's simple, build in simple graphics, take pictures/upload in hi-res! It's a lot of switching, but I've gotten used to it. I've got an okay computer (Dell Inspiron 15R), but it could be better.

Oh, just to explain why I've been gone for a while, I've been really preoccupied with playing Spore and Galactic Adventures. If any of you play it also and are on Sporepedia, buddy me! I'm Dragonman9 there.

Thanks. I made it using a template by UltimateZob, a buddy of mine. I looked there, you've got some nice stuff! Added as buddy.
I'm working on an adventure right now, called Museum of Nephid History, using Andeavor's Museum template. I should be done soon, then I'll be working on a stuck-in-cave adventure/series (as a possibility). Oh yeah, check out Parkaboy's stuff. Macbook?!? thats impossible; I'm a PC!! (and Windows 7 was my idea) Besides, LDD isn't the only thing i'll be running at top capacity on my computer; I have Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Which is nearly impossible to run at capacity on all but the best computers. And there are several other games i would like to play, but cant even install because they require that even more power than FSX. Anyhow i have nearly enough money to purchase that laptop, and it will be worth it.

Well, ThatLddGuy is a true lier. Line his model up with the original, and it all plays out. See my comment on his Mech Suit Mk. VI to see my reasons. oh, and a little anti-copy tip: build inside all the armor (away from view) 2 or 3 circle studs on top of each other, and give them a random colour (yellow for example). The copier will not thing to go benieth the armor, so when you download to make sure it isn't copied, you can look to those studs for proof (hope that makes sense).

I was with Richie, I though we we're free of 'em. We're wrong though it appears. I'll be using that tip in future.

to ED, JTM, and richie:

Read my comment on Mech Suit mk. VI. Lay off until LDD Guy responds (that's an order from your boss). If he responds with the same puff-piece that he did last time, then resume investigations. I will personally look through the entire titan model and his 'copied' titan to see how well they match up.

Well guys, I've made my first real progress in ages! Yesterday i started my next big project. No its not the MCV system; I built the head for what hopes to be my first successful CBMC Classic mech. it is going to be about the size of the Armadillo and will act as a close suport unit for said mech. its cretainly not pretty (even for a CBMC classic) but i think its gonna work! Ofcorse I'd be glad to help! If you want you can design it to the best of your abilities and I'll re-release it in a "production version" like with Bio's Panther (which I am quite pleased with as it's about to make our first sale $$$$) Just let me know what you want me to do to help. Design one of the components, weapons, whatever you need.
It's great to see everyone adding to the classic mech line keep up the great work guies!

Very nice Jak!
I think you should probably zoom in a bit more when taking screenshots, so it almost fills the screen. Looks a bit more 'animal' than your previous minimechs. Some weapons would be nice. Good looking tail too.

Im a bit dissatisfied with my own cocpit design so im going to scrap the project and start over in LU mode. i dont think you would like it anyway, in comparison to your mechs it looks kinda mideval. this time im going for a sleeker, sexier, version of the CBMC classic "Did you just say that? THis topic is for moving forward, so I'd liek to announce the projects that you might see come to fruition is the next month or so at Legopolis Tech.

- Legopolis Tech MoonShadow
The new wave of LT minimechs is here! The first prototype of the LTM is complete, with possible mods after I get a chance to look at the UXM-1.T. You can expect some other MoonShadows to be released eventually. These will include an anti-big-mech, artillery, small and nano versions and a first for LT, an Uber version.

- Theran Strike: The Farglow Facility
Though I have made little progress in posting for this theme, I will soon finish the LT and Theran forces to be used in the story.
Also expect profiles for Ed Grant, Shark and Dolphin, Ferret and San Diego. I'd like to ask Jak, Bio and Chunk to create profiles for their characters (if they wanna be in the story, of course). Use the ones I make as a template.

- Humming Bird II
The old LT mech aerial transport, the Humming Bird, will be replaced by a new creation. It will now hold four LTs and be compatable with the new MoonShadows.

- Tactical Combat System
My faction in the TCS will be called Artemis (the hunter). Units up soon.

- Thunder Dawn
Yeah, I know I haven't kept my word and I'm falling behind on my posts. But I'll try to do two this week. For those who have been able to not get bored and have read up untill here, I have present. The names of the factions are Artillery, the Semi-Organics, Orion's Forces and the Children of Farglow.

That's all folks!

Progress! Finally! I am working on redoing my failed mech project and have nearly completed the head. next will be the arms, legs, and weapons, and i will be able to post it. its bigger this time; You didn't hear it from me, but it might even be able to tival the Titan. AHEM! anyhow, after that's finished, i'll take a short break to work on a few UXM projects then turn my attention to the Dragonstar project, giving myself a short vacation here and there to indulge in the TCS. If anyone objects, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.

Awsome work on your faction! After this fight between me and Andrew I'm overhauling the Unit Profile Cards to now feature digit amounts rather than just tallies for stat point amounts, more on that later.

Also, this chat here is more about what we're doing to move our group forward (used to be called CBMC/XT Cooperative hence the name for this chat) so if you could please take any more talk about your faction to the TCS chat. Sorry I don't meen to be bossy just tryen to keep things organized.

So I've been thinking: We've got most of the popular mech builders from Lego.com to come over here, except for one: Brickmania. I actually have talked to him about coming over here a while back, and he made it seem like he was already here, but he just hadn't shown his face for a while. Anyone think we should become more aggressive in trying to get him over here?

Rejetion. That's a new word? Wonder what it means?

Anyway, the co-operative includes XT/CBMC as the two highest tier companies. Companies owned by people who work for (or used to work for) either of the top tier companies are also included (Mad Mechs, LT, etc.). And this continues to include another tier branch from the second. If I recall correctly LTE was inducted into LT shortly before I left the LBMs, therefore yes LTE, you are in the co-operative.

^--[This stuff about what the Co-operative is should also help Mr Goldfish]

Oh, and even though Andrew (Head of Unmanned Mecha) used to be outranked by Chunk (CEO) at CBMC, Andrew is CEO at XT; and XT and CMBC are equal in rank now. So Richie please respect Andrew as Chunk's equal, not his subordinate.

We would be more than happy to welcome RGF Productions, though your already part of the group and that pretty much means your part of our "Corporate Conglomerate" as well, so to speak. =D

I am honored to be considered a member though I hadn't realized that I was already considered such a member.

What I was asking, was really what do I contribute? Is there a particular frame that I should create a unit based off, or is it just whatever I place foreward as a contribution?

There's been a few to build units of other peoples builds that I had seen. I was curious if I should follow suit.

Foremost, I did not intend to place Andrew beneath Chunk, I was simply making an assumpyion based on personal experience (and/or lack thereof). I would like to take this oppertunity to correct a spelling error; the word is: Rejection. Sidenote: I think we all have different perceptions as to the nature of the colaborative.

I honestly didn't know Chunk's opinion on the matter, but if you are correct i'm on Chunk's side; If nothing else we should continue our "company" thing just for the fun of it. Of course, if this proposition goes far enough, we will have to come up with a currency!

I continue LT as a basis for back stories and Theran Strike. I think Andrew is doing the same. What I think he wants to end is people asking him/Chunk for permission to post/make creations. I agree with this; build want you want, give credit when you made mods/customs and use your company/military institution as a back story.

As for currency, I'm pretty sure XT and CBMC are on a future earth and as such will probably use USD (or maybe Yuan the way things are going). LT is on Morhdia. It's the colony on this planet (possibly the last remaining group of humans in existence) and use dollars as that was the currency in use when they left earth.

There are no restrictions on what you can build for the Co-operative, however there are some styles of mech that are somewhat stereotypical and are the most commonly made for it.

The Minimech:
Smallish (about three minifigs tall) mostly humanoid mech using t-piece hinges; the most modern being the UXM, or the LTM but its not XT. There are also light, nano and heavy versions of the minimech. The TAM is a light and the UGM is a heavy, nanos are only on DbM (primarily Andrew's page).

The CBMC Classic:
Big mechs mostly using two types of hinges, have a cockpit and are 'western' styled (big chunky war machines as opposed to 'eastern' mechs, such as Gundams). These are the Bionicle ball and socket hinge for limbs and the t-piece hinge which is referred to in this situation as a hard-point and is used for weapon and equipment mounting. Classics are modular and use red technic cross beams (2 modules long) to connect the module together. The weaponry also often has mounts for extra aiming equipment, bayonets, armour or other upgrades. There are a few CBMC Classics on Chunk's page and many more on his DESIGN byME page.

The MBS
This is less used than the previous but still deserves a mention. These are CBMC Classic sized and use ball joints but are humanoid with hands and a head. The contain a pilot in the body. Arik has made some on MOC pages but the originals are on Chunk's DbM.

Well, then. I will contribute an Armored Division of MGS-341's, as well as a Battalion and an ATD Division to the cause.

Also, RGF Productions runs on a currency called the Plat, which is a current 1 to $7.35. Of course, our prices are still low, given the rate of exchange.

I've been putting together battalion pictures, and will have these posted soon.

Advanced Recon Comando? To me that spells "Clone Trooper" in plain basic (lol).....

Yeah, I know right?
But the distinction is ARC versus ARC trooper.
I also have my own ARCs, though now it's more like a big, heavy mini-mech. Not that that makes any sense :P
