Can we please have UNLIMITED overhang?? It would help a LOT. And does it have to be those categories in the rules thread?

People tend to abuse unlimited overhang. I think somewhere between 15 by 15 should be plenty of room for a nice entry.
The categories in the rules were just suggestions. I expect you to be creative with your entries, and I don't think it's my place to tell you what to build.

If it had unlimited overhang, it'd be a diorama contest.

It USED to be that a vig was 8x8, a bigvig was 16x16 and anything bigger was a dio. You've got it easy, with this latest trend for bigger and bigger overhangs.

To the admin: are multiple vigs in one entry acceptable? Say, one entry, with three vigs.

What about multilevel vigs?

Multiple levels are perfectly fine. Multiple vigs? Nope, just one.

As high as you can go without the whole thing toppling over.

is an acceptable entry a 6x8 vig?

Nope, sorry. The base has to be 8 by 8.

Are we limited to one entry? I assume we are, since it's only one round.

Yup, one entry, but your vig can be more than one level high. If you have more than one idea you can build as many levels as you want, so long as the ideas connect.

One question: but why can't the judges enter? (I didn't now that they can't)

Well, this is only the second contest I've started and it seemed like it would make everything more complicated. Hopefully we can make it work though.

Is acceptable a 8x8 vig without minifigures?

Well, you can't really have "Heroes in peril" without heroes.

The answer is: no, then.

Don't worry, the entry you posted is perfectly fine.

Are you talking about"Treasure under sea"?

No, "Crystal Hunters." The one you posted the link to wasn't an entry was it? We're only doing one round, so one entry per person.

...I'm not quite sure I know what you mean by that. The build has to be original with you.

That doesn't sound very original. I'm not going to say you can't, but it might not get many points from the judges.
