It just couldn't be prevented: I grew away from my LegoŽ. I'll most likely keep my MOCpages, but I won't upload anything anymore, nor will I be active.

I had an awesome time with you guys, sharing my creations with you all. I regret nothing, though I'm stopping.

I'm ever so sorry for you guys. Goobye!

The same for me, Tom.

I'm sorry to see you go, and I'm sad to announce that I'm working on my last weapon.

This weapon will be the world famous FN FAL. It'll be 1:1 scale. You can expect it somewhere late 2011/begin 2012.

I really liked the LEGO-building time. I'll keep my MOCpages channel for my fans, and I'll still be active on MOCpages, although I won't upload any more creations.

Thanks to all my fans,

Love,

-Jan

I will still be active no matter what, if so many people are going to leave, someone has to step up. And that would be me.

I've been on here for a few years and I stopped putting out creations for about a year now and I most likely will not be posting any more. although I still will be responding to comments on my creations that need to be responded to, like I have been doing for the past year or so. on another note, it's a shame to see all of the people that I had looked up to when I first joined (replica building wise) are now leaving. Although I completely understand that people outgrow things from their childhood as I have with legos to some extent. As for the new builders, there will be someone who will eventually replace the master builders of this group (at least I hope). Be innovative like Jack Streat was, or excel at building 1:1 scale replicas with every bit of detail that can possibly be fit into it like multiple people in this group, none of whom's names I can remember right now. Most importantly and cliche...ly have fun while you do it. Well that was more speech-like than I had intended it to be, so thank you to those of you that actually read this entire post. And that's all I have to say about that. (+1 internets if you know where that quote is from)

Okay, that's a long comment, but its going to be a shame to see you not upload new creations. I saw some of your creations and they were great. If only you could make more.

Yeah, it is kind of lengthy. Sorry about that. BUT, there is a reason that I said "most likely" ;). Just don't expect anything too soon. I haven't done this in a while so I'm working with fresh ideas.

It's sad that many of the great builders stop... But maybe it's a good thing since I think that it's not good idea to build with Lego's when you're 20! But what about the Dawg? Is he still building?

Throughout my time on MOCpages I never was one of the greats on Gun Smiths, but I still enjoyed myself, and now I definatly feel I'm finished with MOCpages. I still have three brilliant un-posted guns in my room but I never got round to submitting them. You may all ignore this or not see it but its fine, I've had fun and I hope the next generation of gun builders have as much fun as I did.
Signing out, Rob

Why must EVERYONE leave? Has LEGO simply been removed from society. Like everyone else is saying, it is our time to shine.
