Handgun help.?

Well, I'm back from a long hiatus due to school, and I need some help. Ive decided to build a realistic working pistol that has a slide action and feeds self contained clips into the grip. I've succeed in making the clip feed through the handle, but now I need a slide action mech that will fit in the small place left in the back of the gun and work with bullets feeding in at a slanted angle.

Could you post a WIP of what you have now? I two made several pistols that had removable self-contained clips similar to Jack Streat's, but after that all the mechs seem to be too frail when placed in a handgun configuration. All I can recommend (from what I know)is a cross-bow pistol design. Good luck to ya.

Because I build on large scales (in terms of both guns and other MOCs), whatever I make that fails never really lasts that long. So any WIPs that I had of that failed pistol frame are long gone. Sorry mate.
