My project: air rifle Lego stock.

Project plan: Lego stock.

Ok, so here is the idea, for Christmas 2010 I have decided to get a 22. Air rifle, the reason for this is that 2 more juniors have joined my rifle club and inevitably 1 of them will be using my rifle for the spring league 2011.

My dad has given me a great idea. Being as though I am a huge fan of Lego, why not create a complete stock for the new gun using nothing but Lego parts?
Please tell me what you think of this idea, I picked this group as it is the most popular, thank you for reading. (the rifle will be posted on here but will be multicolour to add to the traditional Lego effect, so no multicolour haters please.)

I agree with Max as sportgunner but hey, this sounds a cool idea. Will you post a video too?

This is a really nice idea, but lego tend to have weird angles for professional shooting...for me as a sportgunner, I wouldn't make a stock out of lego for target shooting, but for lookings only this is a great idea!
(I only see a problem in fitting the rifle parts perfectly inside a lego-built stock...)
I'd like to know what rifle you mean..
Looking forward to see the completed thing!

The original stock will be kept but I really wanted to give this a go as it is something new. the rifle is a simple bolt action .22 target rifle, the lego will be glued together and pieces will be modified to fit the workings perfectly, this wont properly be finished until Christmas if not longer, but be sure to check my profile for upadates although I have made a prototype shoulder butt, if you would like to see the pictures, give me your e-mail

Ok I will post some videos on the project, and a video on the rifle being shot :) (I am an experienced shooter anyway)
