what knid of WWII era bolt action rifles were used with infused stock handeles but not thumbhole stocks. i was thinking of making either a springfeild or kar98. but what are some other ones?

Let me tell you something: those didn't excist... Perhaps the German T-Gewehr from 1918 is an idea, but the stock isn't infused...

Chris are you talking about a standard gun stock with the incorporated grip and stock all in one that was usually made of wood? There are many, many different guns from WW2 that have this configuration, here are just a few I know off of the top of my head:

M1 Garand
M1A1 Carbine (Not the paratrooper stock)
Gewher 43
Lee Enfield SMLE

I hope this helps, but remember most of these stocks were made of wood, take that into account when making your gun. Try by making the stocks rounded like my latest guns for the best effects.
