My favorite gun? The Magnum Research Desert Eagle MK XIX, hands down. Great stopping-power, accuracy, enough weight to deliver skull-shattering melees, and if you throw-in a decent recoil-reducing system, dual wieldable. Not to mention it's utter badassednes.

As far as assault rifles go, I'm gonna say HK-16/17 and G-36. As for submachineguns, I'm an UMP45, Uzi, MP-5 man myself.

Ummmm...I have always loved the colt 1911 and the wather p22. Both are great guns, I have only shot the 1911 but I am looking forward to shooting the walther. Well I got a Ruger Mark III as a early christmas present and when I shot it I fell in LOVE. Sigh...Okay so I replace the walther(I still want to shoot it) with my rugar Mark III.

Mines the cz75. It's in a readily availible caliber, 9x19 features an innovative double action/ single action trigger system. It has a reverse slide rail system, relible, and is acuatly quite accurate. All the best features of the worlds best handguns in one for a reasonable deal. And don't say otherwise I should know I own one.

G11. The most ridiculous thing ever invented: 2,000 rpm, 50 round magazine, casless rounds, no significant recoil until everything is out of the barrel. You know, your typical German gun.
The G11, probably the most advanced rifle ever. Too bad the weapon had no ejection port, it would've been a very successful gun if it had.

It has more advantages than disadvantages.
Advantages:
-Both the rifle and the ammunition have a low weight.
-It is short.
-It has a great accuracy because of the extremely high rate of fire.

Disadvantages:
-No ejection port, there's only one way to unload the rifle...By field stripping it while it's loaded.
-Caseless ammunition is still in a test phase and is unreliable.

It is a great rifle, indeed.

The G11 indeed had an emergency ejection port located under the rotating chamber you only needed to turn the cocking handle 180 degrees counter clockwise it may not have been on the first prototypes but it was on later models

My favorites are 1911-style pistols, especially the ones made by Colt and Kimber. I also like strange, bare-bones designs that you don't see very often, like the Feather AT-22. (Not sure why)

Also, I'd like to say "Happy Thanksgiving!!!" to all of my fellow Americans!

Yeah, it's not bad. I mean, I'm an H&K fan-boy and all, but I just don't care for it's appearance. Massivelly innovative design, but the thing looks like the guns I made out of huge 2x6 blocks when I was a little kid.

It's time for you guys to put down your plastic M4s and get a real rifle... an M-14! A 7.62x51mm cartridge slinger that is more accurate and powerful than an M4, better for CQB because of it's weight, and it will NOT fail you. I absolutely love my Mini-30 (Mini M-14) and it is probably the best gun to own for self defense period. It's American, its reliable, and it's deadly... Enough said!

Kid, those are Black Ops guns. Call it by its real name. Sorry for being frank.

As for what I like,
SL-8
HK416
and the Cz75

You can keep your .50 cal guns for flashyness, but in the heat of battle, you want reliable, easy to replace/repair guns with common ammo sizes and mags (Which is hypocritical for me to say since the Cz75 is a rarity now).

I also don't mind a good M4.
:EDIT:
It seems like a lot of other people here like the Sl-8 and Cz's! Good to know some of us think the same!

Actually there was a gun named the Stoner 63 so that is a real fact. The commando on the other hand is probably just a modified M16/M4.

Ok that like to point out one bullet kills someone and at close range it's the easier to use rifle that wins. Also I'd like to point out the "commando" is a neither a car-15 or a xm-17..... whatever, it's a colt 603 "commando". An actual rifle. Another one of my favorite firearms is the Brno 550-650. I hunt with one and with 30:06 the rifle is invincible

Sorry, I was just referring to the Commando, the Stoner 63 is the real name of the gun.
And like Izak Felder said, they are BOTH real guns. I never once implied that they weren't real guns. As a matter of fact, I said "Kid, those are Black Ops guns. Call it by its real name. Sorry for being frank." which means I was only referring to the NAME of the gun (The "Commando"), not that it wasn't real.

Sorry to go on a bit of a rampage there, I just get a bit annoyed when people mis-interpret straight-forward statements.
