I'm perplessed...
Some great lego gun builders are disappeared and now Jack Streat has said that he won't make guns any more. Now I wish you to listen to my opinion: don't let lego guns die!!!
Together we have created an incredible and unique kind of art! Keep it on together with our ideas and don't throw them!

I am extremely busy with classes, so my building has been paused. I promise everyone that I will continue to build guns for a long time.
BTW: I built a small device that lets anyone who owns a Behringer FBQ3102 Equalizer to simultaneously adjust both left and right channel's sliders of a certain frequency. I'll post a page for it eventually. Permalink | April 9, 2010, 3:41 pm |

I've also noticed that many Lego builders are taking away from our
world but if we continue to build this great world will not end Permalink | April 9, 2010, 4:29 pm |

even if really good builders quit then there will still be new people who could make things just as well. i have a feeling no one will replace jack but there will still be people who make really good replicas to come Permalink | April 9, 2010, 6:36 pm |

Why would a great gun builder like him stop?
because he could have lost intrest in it Permalink | April 10, 2010, 12:23 pm |

I don't know if any of you remember the situation with DualDesertEagle on YouTube, but he said he was going to quit because he was tired of everyone spamming for instructions and whatnot, but then he came back a month later. So I say let Jack take a break. Just don't complain, and keep trying to make better guns. Permalink | April 10, 2010, 1:22 pm |

I want you guys to know that i haven't left either. Like Py, I too have been overwhelmed with school, homework, and baseball. But when I find the time to take pictures I will post my M4 v5. My new M4 is way better than the last version and I have created many, many new accessories for it. Permalink | April 10, 2010, 1:31 pm |

I'm still active, but I have no idea which gun to build, and that's why I haven't posted a creation for ages. Any suggestions for a new gun? Permalink | April 15, 2010, 12:14 pm |

Here is what needs to happen. Builders like Jack Streat took the bolt action principle to its pinnacle. Thomas Cooper and a few other notable builders developed a system of self contained cartridges in various sizes. When a motor is added to a movable firing pin, automatic weapons result. This system creates the most realistic lego weapon possible, one that fires multiple self contained rounds from a magazine in an automatic fashion, without the use of rubber bands, or complicated mechanical systems, and ejects a spent casing. I firmly believe that a series of weapons designed using these weapons would revive the lego gun industry on MOCpages. Permalink | April 15, 2010, 4:08 pm |

What happened with the dual desert eagle?
In short: He said he was pissed about people spamming for instructions and stuff like that, so he left YouTube. Then he came back a few months later. There was also a LOT of other crap going on with him, but I was only referring to him leaving. Permalink | April 22, 2010, 9:21 pm | |
