I've been trying all day to make a working 2 studs wide magazine that feeds 1x1 bricks. Does anyone have an idea of doing that?

Can you do something with window pieces like on my mp5? You could put a spring on the bottom that pushes the bullets up.

actually a 2-stud wide mag is very possible - ive been thinking of one so that i could make a brickshooting uzi for firing 1x2 bricks. basically the mag ends are made of, say 1x15 liftarms. you then get a load of 8x1.5 flat plates, and stick the studs into the holes in the liftarms. this will then get you two parts of your mag - the front and the back bit. you connect them together every few studs with 1x4x0.5 liftarms and 2M axles. the only thing i have to do is get the feed mech working, and also i need more 8x1.5 plates, as i only have 2. heres a link to the 8x1.5 plate, if you dont know what i mean: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4510

I think I understood it, but wouldn't this be very easy to brake? And this also would be 4 studs long...The idea I had is only around 3 studs long (you HAVE to use this angle plates also for the grip, otherwise it won't firt anywhere)

well, obviously you could shorten it if you wanted, but i dont think 1x1 bricks would feed very well - theyd just fall over, as theyre taller than they are long. thats why i would go for the 2x1 ammo
