A good or bad idea

I am planning to make a lego shotgun that shoots not bricks or technic peices but batteries! The idea just brainstormed me but to make it I think I need to order a few bricks on bricklink. But anyway what do you think about this idea?

Well, the point is: What are you going to shoot with it? Just targets? Good idea. But it might be a dangerous project.

before i had the idea of brick-shooting guns, i tried to make my guns fire batteries. take it from me, it wont work. there is no way that you will be able to get decent range unless you have room to hide something like a scuba tank in it - huge air pressure would be the only possible solution. sorry to completely dis your idea, but were all restricted by the laws of physics:-(

what about AAA batteries

Those would be your best bet, but try running a Power Functions motor nonstop (if you have one). That will drain the batteries, thus making them lighter. Be warned, if the batteries get punctured, you'll have sulfuric acid leaking everywhere.

how bout your break the laws of physics and shoot a car battery

If I can break the laws of physic then I'll be shooting thermonuclear generators with my Lego guns LOL.
